DoctorStanley:So Nigerians don't spend money on visa ,on flight and on living which contributes to their economy ? How many Americans come here to "give" us money ,they either come here as expatriates to work which is not different from Nigeria expatriates in US . These expatriates are paid for their services, not that they're doing free job . Those that come here for tourism are not different from Nigerias that go to US for tourism . |

linearity:That's why countries spend millions advertising for tourists, ba? Because they're Father-Christmas! |

DoctorStanley:Cleaning ass and washing plate is not different from working on oil rigs , they all get paid for their services. Nigerians don't go to USA free of charge ,they spend money on visa ,flight and living in US which contributes to US economy. Any American that come to Nigeria to make money also send that money back to US which is not different from Nigerians working in US that send money back to Nigeria. Tourism is both way , Nigerians spend money on tourism in US even more than Americans spend money on tourism in Nigeria. |

CoronaVirusPro:I studied medicine at UNN. It's NOT everything you reciprocate. Notice when Trump slapped 50% tarrifs on Chinese goods, China slapped 15% tarrifs on American goods ![]() |

Islie:aura for aura, they can’t be treating us like trash out there and we will be treating their people with respect and kindness here, I know our country leaders are corrupt but asking for social media handle while applying for visa is a total disrespect to Nigerians |

mohims:It is a matter of having money sense instead of being a stubborn fool. Someone comes to your shop to spend money while you go to their shop to try to make dollars. It is like China reciprocatively slapping 50% tarrifs on US goods! |

DoctorStanley:Nigeria should fix its country. If Nigeria is as good as we want it to be , we won't even have desperate people trying to Japa and the number of people traveling to USa for stay would drastically reduced . Making it easy for foreigners to come when it's not safe is a big problem |

Commentor:I understand and indeed share some of these sentiments, but nothing comes out of empty bravado. We have to eat the humble pie for now until such a time when we become strong enough to negotiate terms from a position of strength and not concealed weakness. |

OgaSeun:Did you read your first sentence? Haven't you seen guys here supporting Hamas, Taliban, Hezbollah and Iran? Have you not seen videos on tiktok of northern terrorists displaying weapons and hostages? You must have been living in another world. Through your social media account, they will be able to track your posts, the posts you view and like most, your political views, your religious inclination, your followers, those you follow and your general social media behavior. You think they are dummies? They know exactly what they are looking for. Those who murdered Deborah in Sokoto, where did they post their beastly acts? And what has your country done about them? The US is not as careless as your country. Did Saudi Arabia not deport Gumi back, and he moves around freely in Nigeria? Comot here jor! ![]() |

HydraFeeds:Just the money Yahoo boys and 419ers bring into the country from America! . But seriously, that's why we should find ways to encourage them to come here - because there is only net gain for us.Our people go over there and consume their social services and make dollars and send home! It is NOT everything you reciprocate! |

DoctorStanley:Inferiority complex. It's not only Nigeria that have citizens of questionable characters there are many psycho and depressed patients in America, every now and then there are always mass shooting carried out by one depressed individual or the other we don't want such individuals in Nigeria. Nigerian laws, religions and cultures are against LGBTQ,we don't want them in Nigeria, now that Trump is making America unlivable for them. Moreover Nigeria is not like Canada that America wanted to annex. |

HydraFeeds:Funny guy. Comparing forex pouring into the country from US to expatriate money that is totally insignificant to American ecomomy. Simple, the more Americans we can get to visit Nigeria thr more money we'll make. Not so for them |

casualobserver:Did u call it inferiority complex when China did not reciprocate the 50% tarrif Trump slapped on them. It is question of having money sense instead of being a fool! |
| Re: Nigeria To Demand Social Media Disclosure From Americans by DoctorStanley: 3:19pm On Aug 19, 2025 |
FILEBE:Thank you. It's NOT everything you reciprocate. We get much, much more money if they come here than they get if we get there |

bewla: chipet67: Guestmale: chipet67:Notice when Trump slapped tarrifs on China and Europe - it is NOT everything you reciprocate. We get far more money if they come here than they get if we go there. We should find ways to encourage them to come here - because there is only net monetary gain for us. We KNOW they will spend money and go home NOT hang around to look for job! Our people go over there and consume their social services and make dollars and send home! It is NOT everything you reciprocate! |

DoctorStanley:China retaliated. if there is one country you cant bully iut is China, that is why they are growing and dominating. They are the epitone of a nation with self respect. it was TACO trump that backed down not China. You cant bully or dictate to China! USA banned Nvidia H20 chips exports to China, when they realised they were losing sales and China was developing its own, USA removed the ban. China responded by telling its companies not to purchase Nvidia chips despite USA removing the ban! speak about things you understand! a nation whose citizens lack self respect will go nowhere!

DoctorStanley:This is a targeted witch hunt for Nigeria's refusal to accept the illegal South American immigrants that Trump wants to deport to Africa. I support the Nigeria government's decision. The question you need to ask yourself is, how many Americans visit Nigeria? The US government have listed everywhere in Nigeria in their travel warning. Trump only has some few years left before he leaves office. Once he leaves all these meaningless requirements will be trashed away. We should never bow to America. We should be decisive. |

DoctorStanley:A simple question , where's the forex "pouring" into Nigeria coming from ? Also , Americans coming to Nigeria before , what were/are they ding in Nigeria ? |
| Re: Nigeria To Demand Social Media Disclosure From Americans by belikewater: 3:39pm On Aug 19, 2025 |
DoctorStanley:Not so! If you know how much expatriates are packing out from Nigeria you would think twice! |
| Re: Nigeria To Demand Social Media Disclosure From Americans by DoctorStanley: 3:42pm On Aug 19, 2025 |
mohims:So you want even less Americans to come? Answer me this: suppose they somehow enforce that Nigerians in US can no longer send money home. Which economy suffers? You let some things slide. It is NOT everything you reciprocate! |
| Re: Nigeria To Demand Social Media Disclosure From Americans by HydraFeeds(m): 3:43pm On Aug 19, 2025 |
DoctorStanley:Yahoo boy money doesn't involve Americans coming to Nigeria . Personally , I don't beg people to be my friend but instead focus on self development , it's like trying to impress a girl , a girl who actually knows you're trying to impress her but the truth is that you don't have the ability , she will abandon the guy , but if you truly have the worth , it's the girl hat will be chasing him . We should focus on self development and treat "everyone" the same way they treat s . |

DoctorStanley:Like i said comment on things within your pay grade. China did not retaliate at that point because it was comical and a joke.... just like my engaging you any further is a joke! At 125% all trade between USA and China was effectively halted, raising it any higher made no difference! China simply ignored trump's childish tantics! We are not talking about africa magic or BB naija here! stick to your areas of competence like what happened in the Big brother house That you have to consult Ai shows you dont even know where to go for info!
