Wike: I am not aware there is any Convention in Ibadan. As a NEC member I have not been told and nobody has invited me for NEC meeting for me to say that NEC has held a meeting. If few people who work as a team say they have held a NEC meeting, okay so be it.

The way you lot over-celebrate the outcome of this flawed buy-election is almost laughable. It will be foolhardy to think the general election will follow the same pattern. There was really no much difference between this by-election and the local government elections that occurs in states because governors and federal political appointees always use it to prove a point by concentrating enormous resources in a small catchment area. APC even lost in Ibadan North, a traditional APC stronghold in the Southwest. Was that an indictment on Tinubu and a testament of the unpopularity of APC in Oyo? Does this mean Tinubu will lose Oyo state in 2027?

No. Jonathan passed the electoral reform bill into law and kept saying his ambition was not worth the blood of any Nigerian. He was defeated and he calmly conceded defeat even when some of his appointees were ready to cause rancour. He didn't scuttle other political parties using state resources in a bid to run unopposed.

Okay. While you're at it, why not go ahead and swear Tinubu in for second term? You all believe APC's loss in Ibadan to PDP in their stronghold is of no consequence to Tinubu in 2027 but ironically, you think APC's "victory" in other states in the buy-election means Tinubu will sweep those states.

The arrogance Wike displays is unnecessary in my opinion. He is a member of the party and wants to be everything to the party.

He’s very right about the need for a NEC meeting before the convention. INEC already distanced themselves from the last PDP NEC meeting so whatever decision that was reached at that meeting is not binding.

Bro the early you understand Tinubu will only leave Aso Rock by 2031 the better it is for you.

Pls analyse it for me and come up with a sound judgement a party(apc) nearly won all the entire 744 Local Government seat in Nigeria and won nearly the entire concillorship in the country, get more governors, get more senators and won a landslide in just recent bye election yet you are still thinking one party will just come from nowhere and stop the dynamic? PDP scored 68 votes in the whole Anambra South Senatorial Zone in the just concluded Bye-Election held last Saturday.

Who is still taking the party serious??

They allowed an overbearing, arrogant and bossy Wike to hold firm grip of the party at its own expense.
