Controversial Nigerian singer, Naira Marley, has announced that he is finally ready to share his side of the story regarding the tragic death of his former signee, Mohbad. Eyes Of Lagos reports,

Recall that Mohbad passed away in September 2023, an incident that sparked nationwide outrage and conspiracy theories. Fingers were pointed at Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and Marlian Music, with many blaming them for the singer’s untimely demise.

After being cleared of allegations, Naira Marley revealed that the time has come for him to speak out. Taking to social media, the Marlian Music boss invited fans to join him on his official YouTube channel by 8pm, where he promised to tell his side of the story.

His post read:
“Meet me on YouTube @8pm. It’s time to tell my side of the story… via Marlian Music Channel.”

As expected, the announcement stirred heated reactions online:

No one said you and Sam Larry shot or stabbed him but you guys broke him physically, mentally and emotionally to the point that he petitioned authorities and put out videos saying that if anything happens to him, we should hold you both responsible.

The worst happened to him and we are honoring Mohbad's wish by holding you both eternally responsible.

Nigerians and sentiment ehh, especially when it comes to men, this guy is most likely innocent of the accusations,is it not the same Mohbad that accused NDLEA of giving him something strange to drink which turned out to be a lie, he even accused his wife of trying to kill him yet everyone turned blind eyes to that part but decided to focus on Naira Marley and Samlarry

Meanwhile, Mohbad is dead, his family is in disarray, and his fans are pissed!

Even as people are angry, no one has attacked Naira Marley or Sam Larry. They have not been stoned or had their houses burned to the ground.

I see no issues here.

They are not in jail today because the courts don't work with emotions like most Nigerians, And please don't try to downplay the treatment Nigerians have and are still giving to them, do you even know what it means to be accused falsely?

Nobody confirmed these guys have a hand in the death of that chap, yet many just believed various accusations online. Not a fan of any of them though but its not ok to just follow bandwagon
