I can relate to 4, 6 and 8. Then my lovely Mum(God bless her soul) would make us feel we committed a crime of we are walking with her and pass a neighbour and didn't greet the person. If you misbehave, my mum will always wait till night to treat your fvckup, she will give you dinner, you will eat and relax, we will all say Goodnight and head to our rooms...she will later come into the room and order my siblings to go out, she will lock the door and ask you if you've finished running before she will beat okro soup comot for your eyes. It's that training that made my siblings and I become responsible members of the society. Sadly, they are both late. May God bless their souls. Childhood memories sha! |
