One in every 4 persons that post on this thread... Is not their father's son/daughter. Think about that. I think the statistics is exaggerated though! |

Revolva:Yes, I don't believe the stats and I will continue to trust Nigerian women. My mum, wife, sisters, cousins are Nigerian women who are trustworthy. It's not my fault the women in your life and around you are morally loose, deceitful and promiscuous. |

Not that am trying to support the women. But I am having the notion that these DNA test centers are over- blowing the issues for more patronage. |

DNA or not, most of these ladies are very unfaithful I know of some cases where a bride to be had sex with her boyfriend a night to her wedding as a parting gift Just imagine if she took in from that escapade, who do you think will take the responsibility? |

"A shocking new DNA testing report has revealed that one in every four Nigerian men who undergo paternity testing is not the biological father of the child in question' I don't know why this stat is making waves.. For a man to decide he wants to do DNA test, it means there is already a doubt and suspicions...so, going ahead, there is a chance his suspicions are correct. What's the fuss that 1/4 of those who do test are negative ![]() . Don't make this mistake of trying to say it means 1/4 Nigerians are not the father of their kids...No. This is not possible. It's only about those whose house are having problems and have decided to check..1/4 of such homes are not father of their kids and their suspicion is correct |

Ulogwe1:They've overdone the aggressive marketing and it's now backfiring. Wereys want to recoup their investments and resorted to manufacturing stats. Utter bunkum. |

According to research I did with the IFA oracle, irrespective of who impregnated the woman it is the ancestors of the husband that will determine who incarnates in the child. However if a man is maltreating the woman the spirit of the woman will not allow his line to incarnate even if he owns the biology. |

That's a warped statistics there! DNA test is not even remotely close to the census of a small village let alone the whole Nigeria! That one out of four is from a very limited population of families that already have paternity suspicion before going for the test. Nigerians don't just routinely wake up to go and conduct a paternity test. Some level of suspicion, an outright claim by another man or inheritance disputes lead to DNA test; it's not some routine test carried out on a sizeable number of the Nigerian population. |

A right thinking man will never go for any sort of DNA whatever name they call it. Your wife is your wife and your children are your children. Except you are not legally married to her. |

God forbid. Any time we have a new born baby, a DNA test will be conducted. If you're cool with that, I'm looking for a wife. |

its should be higher than 1 in 4, there is already some lack of trust before opting for DNA test so the people doing it already have doubt about the paternity their kids |

casualobserver:I agree with you on one hand and disagree on the other hand. I think the reason why there are more negative DNA results is because there were significant suspicions from the checkers of the DNAs. So what they suspected came to pass. |

geoworldedu:Hey bottom line is many men are raising another man’s child and DNA test centers don’t make money unless you have cause to test. How you link both is up to you. |

casualobserver:No matter the publicity of DNA centers, hardly will anyone go for the test without significantly gravitatious suspicion of infidelity by their spouses. |

geoworldedu:Ofcourse but how many people knew about DNA testing before articles like these from DNA centers? It’s like doctors, there is a very vague line between them curing you and them seeing you as a repeat customer. Why do doctors prefer to prescribe medicine instead of telling you to change your lifestyle and eating habits? Can you imagine going to see a doctor and he has sweets and candy at his reception? What does that say? Is hpit that the doctor doesn’t know sweets are bad for his patients? Do you really need all the tests and medicines they prescribe when you have malaria? No! |

That is a pleasant news. With the way Nigerian women have been moving lately, one would expect 2 in every four Nigerian men would be raising kids that aren't theirs 1 in four is something to celebrate considering how evil younger Nigerian women have become |
