And one major one in my house was that my dad always leaves a small portion of his meal for the last born of the family

Similar to my Dads own of when he’s eating, calling us one by one and putting some meat straight in our mouths! His brothers did that too, so i suspect that’s what their Dad did with them while they were growing up in Onitsha!

Things I instilled in my son. He must greet his elders and it made his friends parents to love him. He will greet and prostrate. He too is now telling his kids to do same
