Did the person who won the primaries ( by crook the last minute) upheld the decision of the committee he set up himself?. He reneged first, therefore Wike has every right to react however he likes.

Looking at it from his angel. At no time has any other presidential candidate choosing a muslim/muslim candidate. Him being a top politician in APC who is a Christian would gave felt he had no rival, given that the president was a Muslim.
