You know what... Why not go do the same thing and let's measure how stupid they really are.

Cho Cho Cho online.
Respect people's traditions. Not everyone has chosen to be mentally colonized.

You should have out grown this honestly. You can't at every topic make it about tribe or the other . It's quite sickening. I understand same are being done to you but I expect you to be mature enough to overlook and pass your message with respect and love. Who knows, they might even start seeing it from your own Point of view.

That guy is not serious, but their religion approve cutting of people's hand if they commit crimes and also spreading their religion through violent force.
And they will prefer to go to war to keep the people they hate?

Will they parade the python if it kills the man or any person?
Africans and senseless traditions.
In this time and age, some people are still believing and aligning with deities?
Ibos still doing Dibias and Ezenwanyis upandan.
Pythons don't kill people in Anambra.
They are a sacred species and have evolved to never harm people with the instinctive understanding that people are harmless.

There are places where specicic wild animals coexist with people.

In the US, deer roam the countryside without fear of people and even enter shops and houses.
Here in Nigeria, they wouldn't dare.

If you're in the US, forget venison.
If you're in Anambra, leave pythons alone.

Protected is different from sacred though. Totally different connotations. One is backed by law, the other isn't. Yeah, he shouldn't have killed it. When you live at a place, you should respect the culture. No, they have no right to "parade" him. He can sue them for that.
Customary law is still law isn't it?

They're quick to shame and parade a man for killing a souless creature they worship...but become deaf and dumb when their brothers destroy lives and families with narcotics and useless agitation.

can you kill a dog or a cat in the UK? Zuma nearly lost his contract with westham last year for kicking his cat! People's culture and tradition must be obeyed no matter where.
Is Nigeria now U.K or must we always copy what they do?

Do u think they are always right?

Customary law is only binding on natives who willingly subject themselves to it. Besides, no culture or custom, however couched, can supersede the constitutional right to dignity. They have no right to parade anyone who does not want to be paraded.

No wonder people are being killed for cows in Nigeria. This placement of animals above people is why Nigeria is so backward.

But why worship a snake that can't defend or speak for itself? 🤷

No. By default, all natives are subject to customary laws unless they formally opt out which often leads to social ostracism within the community

You’re right, they have no right to parade or dehumanize the offender, as it violates his constitutional rights. Customary laws must operate within the bounds of statutory law.

An unfortunate display of backwardness from my brother's across the Niger. This makes no sense and only serves to underscore the narrow-minded nature of some people in this day and age
