If you look at it the other way, Rodrygo is more effective from the left. Rodrygo is a left winger. Vini is there already.

Diaz is more suited from the right. Diaz is a right winger just like most left footers.

One way or the other, Alonso should find a space for Rodrygo. He is too good to be on the bench.

I don't really understand what happened with Rodrygo. Perhaps he is training poorly or what exactly is the issue. He fell out of favour with Ancelloti but his situation hasn't really changed with Xabi Alonso either.

Rodrygo won't have done anything in that game, people are now beginning to make him look like a God because he scored in the last game friendly game, meanwhile his stat this year has been horrible.

I don't have a problem with vini sitting on the bench, but Gonzalo should come in for him and play the number9 while mbappe plays the lwf

Gonzalo could come in too but don't say Rodrygo would have done nothing in that match. That match needed quick passing and alot of movement because of that suicidal low block and Rodrygo could offer that better than Vini.

We clearly lacked a presence in the box and we struggled because of that, even mbappe and guler clearly struggled to break the defence even tho they played well. I still insist that rodrygo wouldn't have done nothing because he does very little most time but people like you and some other Madrid fans simply believe he'll do better than Vini because he is shit on the RW.

Oversimplifying our issues in that match to just "lacking a player in the box" is very naive of you bro.
You could put Prime Raul there in the box and we wouldn't still score if the other issues like quick passing, runs and movement are neglected.

Vini did well defensively in that match but he was very poor going forward and he kept ignoring Carreras overlaps which would have led to some cutbacks and chaos atleast. Rodrygo wouldnt have, Rodrygo is also a master of one touch passing and movement and that's what Mbappe needed in that match. Adding Gonzalo would also have been a huge boost but definitely Rodrygo would have brought something better than what Vini was doing there.

We had games like that last season that our opponent back the bus and rodrygo played fully 90 minutes yet his impact wasn't felt, with a good striker like Gonzalo who is good with his head, we could have simply supplied him with crosses for him to head it in, just like how we saw during the CWC tournament.

Rodrygo is always everything untill he plays, Alonso isn't stupid to leave him on the bench.
