Lagos... IGBOs and their entrepreneurship Ondo....Ijaw and Yoruba mixed. They aren't typical Yoruba. Where is Osun....with IGR of Florida OYO...with IGR of California OGUN...with factories and IGR of Britain KWARA..no level. Fulani outpost. This is a horrible abysmal state of the multi-dimensional poverty spread across Nigeria's geographical regions for God's sake. Lagos used to be called Eko before the era of British colonialism which has historical evidence that it was a commercial center due to slave trade, it continued to prosper when the British became our colonial Master using the natural harbour, the ports for exporting agricultural products. Lagos continued to be very prosperous before the amalgamation in 1914 and afterwards. Now talking about Igbos, there is no record of authority that the Igbos as a tribe were living in Lagos in the 1888 census by the British. IGBOS DIDN'T EVEN EXIST IN LAGOS which was already prosperous without the Igbo tribe. You can fact check and come give us your feed back if you are a bold and a honest son/ daughter of the Igbo tribe. The great son of the Igbo tribe, Chinua Achebe wrote boldly and with all honesty in his book, 'There was a country' criticizing his own tribes men flawed character calling Igbos, 'NOIS'Y EXHIBITIONIST WHO HAVE DISREGARD FOR HUMILITY AND QUIETNESS' . He said many things but I will be banned if I post it here. So you go about with this flawed character as criticized by Chinua Achebe every where in the world and you want people to love you? The same claims you have made in Ghana which Igbos just recently started going to this Gold Coast just a few decades ago. Yorubas and Hausas have lived in peace and prosperity for ages without Hausa and Yoruba hitting their chest telling Ghanaians that we are the ones feeding you. But you do this in South Africa, same every where you go. Penguin2 so imagine Oyo State alone getting the allocation of 5 states altogether to build Oyo State. Wouldn't the development in Oyo State make a great difference in the whole of Nigeria so much that the indigenes of Oyo State will be so proud of themselves bearing their state of indigene and doing as much as possible to remain at home? Would the indigenes of Oyo state be running away from their homes to go 'develop' the homes of other? The whole of South East equals Oyo State and with 5 Governors.
