I'm scared for Nigerian women in the next 10 to 15 years. When I look at Gegeh's doctrines and the number of young men who followed him, lots of Nigerian women will face a massive decline in masculine men.

Therefore there will be lots of masculine women. Gehgeh is teaching men not to be responsible. Running away from responsibility, which is one of the principles of turning a boy into a man.

This isn't rocket science! If the men are running away from being responsible men who work and take care of themselves and their women, the women will have to work hard and become the men they wish they had.

Check fashion trend, some of the trendy fashion today were what our fathers wore in the ancient times.

Today youths want to dress half naked, indirectly they want to go back to Adam's era.


By the time they exhaust that, the new generation will come back to adopt the full clothedness again and it continues to cycle like that.


In the past, men enjoyed being the sole provider for their woman and breadwinner of the family, it made them feel masculine and complete, western culture brought the shared responsibility based on feminism that preached gender equality. Before then, men has upper hand in securing good jobs and all that, but with gender equality gaining ground, things changed as women now had better opportunities in certain jobs and fields. Today it's almost on equal basis, no longer gender based. Couples now share roles and responsibilities because most women now earn more than their husbands, things that never happened in the ancient times.


Gradually women now want to take up men's roles while men wish to take on women roles or run away from responsibilities.


So don't worry, it's part of life's cycle, it will surely get to that stage and then humans will want to revert back to the old ways where women stayed at home to care for the home/kids while the men went out to work and bring back bread.

These things are nothing but cycles of life that nobody can tame except time. Only time can tame it

Any man listening to that guy had already started running from his responsibilities or has been searching for a means of dodging his responsibility before he came across the guy. Stop blaming the guy. It is not the maker of torn clothes that is responsible for madness. Those who locate and put on torn clothes were already mad before coming across the torn clothes. The second to the last paragraph in your post is totally fallacious. If women becoming men is a choice of survival, men becoming women is also a choice of survival and not a choice of weakness.

If you want to preach the Bible, I will agree with you that men are created to provide for women. But if you want to follow the way the world is going, men are no longer supposed to provide for women every time. A man should provide for his woman if the woman does not have. But if the woman has her own money, why should she save it so that the man will be the one spending his own or her?
Women are now equally being empowered the same way men are being empowered. Women now go to school and get jobs. If it was in the past when only men were empowered, when only men were trained in school and offered jobs, I will agree that it remains the responsibility of men to be providing for women. If men should continue to provide all the financial needs of women now that women are equally empowered, what then is the essence of empowering women? If women want all their needs to be provided by men, then the women should focus on opening their legs in bedrooms and nursing children, the women should not bother about going to school and competing with men in the job market.

Your analysis is not balanced. In other words, it is one-sided. Men are not the only problem. Women are equally part of the problem. People like Gege and his fellows are warming up because more women are becoming more materialistic in this generation. In the past, a disciplined or decent man can use his good personality to attract a woman. But today on average, only a man with money attracts almost every woman in his environment. In today's world, a male criminal that has wealth can get any woman of his choice while it is almost impossible for a decent man that doesn't have money to get a woman of his choice. The way things dey go, many young guys dey buy into this “avoid responsibility, avoid women” doctrine, and na women go bear the brunt last-last. Understand the difference between wife and girlfriend,geh did not say don’t take responsibility for your wife ,he is only concerned about girlfriends….what geh geh is preaching is similar to what is obtainable in the UK,when you monetize your body as a woman and still rub it in the face of men,then men have to man up and not take you serious!

That mentality of PresidentMUGABE is wrong. Saying “women are not built to face toughness” is basically saying women shouldn’t contribute to labour but should just earn things because they are women.

The truth is, women have always faced toughness. From farming and trade to even wars, where they forged weapons, supplied armies. women have always contributed to survival and progress.

Trying to exclude women from labour or the workforce is like saying women should depend on men like helpless kids. That’s not reality.
