Why build an airport when Port Harcourt is just nearby...

Escobar has made naira worthless now. You will think billions of naira is a lot d money until you convert it into USD.

Coming to Bayelsa, people don't understand that in most places in the state, it costs twice to build a project than it is in other parts of Nigeria because the state is swampy. They always end up doing a lot of sand-filling before a project starts. But then, I agree that their governors can do better.

Bayelsa needs prayers cos the resources are not properly utilized. Not just prayers but maybe oath taking with a feared diety

This little state supposed to be the most developed states in Nigeria.... corruption.... looting and stupidity won't allow it to work.

This is one of the oil producing states that looks like a glorified village.

It ought to be developing exponentially because of it's small size and population.

And the Ijaws are still agitating for another state

Duoye Diri carry bus terminal go Igbogene which is over 30 minutes from inside Yenagoa town. I am yet to understand the rationale behind that.

It's funny how you included water as part of land mass in Bayelsa. Smh. Bayelsa has the least amount of land mass of all the states in Nigeria.

Bayelsa is almost 90% water! Water everywhere!!

Lagos has far more land mass than Bayelsa let alone land locked places like Ebonyi, Abuja, Anambra, Osun, Ekiti with huge expanse of land mass. It was to increase real land mass in Lagos was why parts of the Western region was carved out to make Lagos a state with real and significant land mass. Bayelsa State in reality has less significant land mass compared to water.

Why should this be a priority for an extreme poverty country with the highest number of children out of school, such that it exports its wealth and citizens to neocolonial countries?

The Lagos State government has said the ratio of public to private schools at both primary and secondary school levels in the state is one to 22.

Swampy as Lagos ? People still build in swamp in Lagos .

Other states also experienced devaluation but all state also experienced increased allocation.

While other states are still trying , Bayelsa has been retrogressive.

Now you spoke about the swampiness ,if other states are not swampy but receives lesser amount to do things , shouldn't the increased allocation in Bayelsa make up for the swampiness and at least develop like other states?

How many years now has the project started. But do they really need it
