I just calculated my tax now and must say I'm impressed by what I saw....but there's a challenge.

What do I get from the government in return for the tax I pay?

I dug my own borehole and lay my own water pipes. I paid for my own healthcare and education. There's no more subsidy according to the government themselves.

The electrification of my house now cost over 3x what it used to and with that, I needed to have backup from my own pocket.

Security is almost nonexistent in my village.

So what exactly am I paying tax for?

Just a reminder..... There's no country that has ever taxed it way to prosperity. Taxation is not the ideal way to raise money for innovative governments. Only slave drivers think taxation as a vehicle for prosperity.

According to this foolish calculator, my tax is 3.5 million. Tinubu and his misguided followers won't see one Naira.

I work four jobs remotely with four AI and tech companies. Wake up early Monday to Friday to meet up with team meetings due to time difference. And our Yoruba brothers think I'll hand in my hard work to them in the name of taxes to develop their region.

I believe leaders should lead by example and fix the country before taxing citizen. This is the only way it will work✅

They should use those Trillions they are swallowing year in year out to fix the country, if anyone evade tax after it, they can take proper legal action.
