This will be tough considering how ‘one Nigeria’ has eroded our cohesiveness and commonality of purpose over the past five decades! It was easier then to speak with one voice, have a common vision, and deploy our collective resources to work towards achieving it because we were all under one common political authority in the then Eastern Region, and we had selfless visionaries like Dr MI Okpara to drive the process! Fat chance of that repeating itself under the present dispensation and structure….especially, given the kind of ‘leaders’ we are saddled with that purport to speak for Ndigbo but in actuality are nothing more than house-niggers beholden to the hegemonic alliance that either installed them or who they think will make them president!

We don't attack corpers posted to our community.. From time immemorial we have been told they are "government children" .. We tend to give them hospitality but you see south easterners, it's a general knowledge they are not exactly the hospitality bunch. So I ask how can south east attract investors from outside.. Y'all have a long Way to convince the rest of Nigeria..

A serving corper was killed in Gombe did that stop investment? Same in Rivers State, Kaduna, Bauchi did that stop investment by others?

Igbos would not have bounced back so soon after the war without the massive Nigerian market access.

Not only did they come back to the market, they came with the attitude of anything ( whether good or bad) just to survive. Since then they have been following this path of all is fair in war. The war and survival mentality never left them all to the detriment of peace in their country

I understand your case very well, you did not witness genocide, marginalization, xenophobia, civilian bombings, scorched-earth policies, Nigerian factor , 20 pound policies, abandoned property policies, Araba policy, or any other anti human, satanic policy but your lifetime not any better than people who witnessed theses policies a billion times , your life is even worse off.

Only a very dumb person will be judging the whole south east with that isolated incident in anambra. We have seen far worse happen in the north where over 10 corpers where brutally murdered in one day yet no one is using that to blackmail the entire northern nigeria.

The priority is to get rid of these violent miscreants parading around and making the East a living hell. There must be concerted efforts to eliminate these criminals and restore sanity. Otherwise, everything else will be a waste of time.

So, are you referring to those who shout Biafra without the mental capacity or the intellectual roadmap or strategic machinery to actualize it? Or do you mean the ones who naively believe that the more Mondays you waste in forced sit-at-home or the more formal businesses you paralyze, the nearer you get to a mirage of Biafran sovereignty?
