THAT WAS WHEN NTA WAS STILL NTA NOT NOW. THAT WAS WHEN NTA WILL BE LIVE IN MONROVIA, ADIS-ABABA, MOGADISU, PRETORIA, JBURG COVERING LIVE BULLETS AS IT IS FLYING TOP THE SKY. THIS WAS WHEN NTA WILL BE LIVE IN THE STREET OF NIGERIA COVERING AND AIRING UP TO DATE INFORMATION ON THE CURRENT HAPPENING IN THE NATION. THAT WAS WHEN NTA WILL BE IN ASIA, EUROPE, AMERICA, AFRICA ETC TO COVER LIVE MATCHES OF THOSE CONTINENT FOOTBALL TURNAMENT. BUT TODAY, REVERSE IS NOW THE CASE, FOR INSTANCE, YOU WILL SEE NIGERIA WILL BE PLAYING FOOTBALL WITH A COUNTRY, OR YOU WILL HEAR THAT AN INSIDENT HAS HAPPENED SOME WHERE, INSTEAD OF THE NATONAL TV TO UPDATE THE MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ON THE CURRENT HAPPENING, YOU WILL RATHER SEE THEM SHOWING ARGUNGUN, OFALA OR EYO FESTIVAL OF 1997. THAT'S HOW ONE WOMAN L COME OUT ON A SOCIAL SPACE AND WAS DEFENDING NONSENCE BY SAYING THAT THE REASON NTA DONT BRING OR AIR LATEST OR BREAKING NEWS AS IT IS HAPPENING IS BECAUSE THEY DONT WANT TO PAINT THE NATION BLACK, WHAT A LAME WAY TO DEFEND. THANK GOD FOR MAINSTREAM / SMART TV CHANNELS AND SOME SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM WHICH HAS TAKEN AND RESHAPENED THE FACE OF JOURNAISM IN THE COUNTRY TODAY, IF NOT, IF WE WERE TO DEPEND ON NTA, OUR LEVEL OF INFORMATION BY NOW WOULD HAVE BEEN A 1998 OR 1999 LEVEL, MAY BE BY NOW WE WOULD HAVE BEEN FEEDING ON 1999 OR 1998 INFORMATION IN 2025 IF NOT FOR NOW, WHO EVEN STILL KNOW THAT NTA EXIST?. |

Hello. Sorry for my late response pls. Okay. What's the difference between Newscaster and presenter? I want to be a presenter/oap, reading out news and having my own shows on air. My niche is parenting and girl-child care. So i have the ability to create topics on the above mentioned shows i wrote. I can still work as a back-room staff if there is no space for presenting. I just want see myself working inside the radio or television media. I have the natural talent. I don't have any experience. aalangel: |

Love800:Do you have any form of training? We do not work with naturals. Naturals are the bloggers of today that do not have any journalistic ethics. |

Okay. Nice one. But that is why am asking. What are the things i should have in order to gain entrance into the radio/tv media? What is the process of qualifying to be a journalist or media person? I don't have any training. aalangel: |

Love800:If you've not gone to the university, you can read courses like English, Mass communication, theatre Arts, Languages like French, German, Ibo, Yoruba.... If you've graduated already, you can go to FRCN Broadcasting school at G.R.A. Lagos, that is, if you're in Lagos. |

Okay. Thanks. But what about writing a letter to a radio station, telling dem i will like to do an apprenticeship with dem? Apart from the FRCN, is there any other way around it? aalangel: |

Love800:You're looking for a shortcut. Are you a graduate? If yes, what did you study? If no, kindly go to school and do what I told you to do. |

If she happened to be alive up till now, she would have known that the suicide option was the worst decision she made.. |

Some of the posts here are something else. No empathy, no sensitivity to the distress of others, nothing. It takes a lot for a human being to be driven to take her own life - particularly if things are going well until the person suffers some great trauma. That woman suffered. I remember reading a lengthy facebook tribute (years ago) by someone who claimed to have known her very well. That tribute said she (Tokunbo Ajai) was often addressed by very close friends and family by her other name, 'Fehintola'. I also remember a network news clip (many, many years ago) of her on horseback getting ready for a game of polo - it seems she was quite a good player. Very sad. I hope her soul has found true rest. |

It was probably because of this incident that the news anchor of Arise Tv Somtochukwu Maduagwu jumped from a 3 storey building while trying to escape and ended up killing herself |

Rest easy, Ms. Tokunbo Ajayi. I read the whole thread and was in shock. I hope the rapist called Udi is still languishing in Jail now. Very saddening. |
