NYESOM WIKE TO RESIGN AS FCT MINISTER OR FACE EFCC FOR MONEY LAUNDERING VIA HOUSE OWNERSHIP IN THE US USING FAMILY MEMBERS AS PROXY Abuja, Nigeria - Controversy surrounds FCT Minister Nyesom Wike over allegations of secretly purchasing a $2 million mansion in Florida, United States, using family members as proxies. According to documents, the property was acquired in March 2025 under the names of Wike's wife, Justice Eberechi Wike, and their children, Joaquin, Jazmyne, and Jordan. The development has sparked calls for Wike's resignation or investigation by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over suspected money laundering and illicit enrichment. Sources close to the matter revealed that Wike's annual salary and allowances of about ₦7.8 million (approximately $5,000) cannot justify the purchase of such a luxurious property. The allegations have also raised questions about Wike's asset declaration and transparency, given his alleged omission of his name from the purchase documents. As the controversy deepens, Wike faces mounting pressure to either resign from his position as FCT Minister or face EFCC investigation over the alleged money laundering and corruption. The development has sparked widespread outrage and calls for accountability among public officials. Remembering that it was this same NYESOM WIKE who at a time on Channels TV disregardingly accused the wife of Buhari's transport minister Rotimi Amaechi for collecting payments illegally from the NDDC for Rivers State Women empowerment projects. It's just like pot calling a kettle black when he himself is the person involved in such crimes. Over time, Wike is known for notoriously accusing people for wrong doings anytime they cross his path politically. WIKE is seen as a talkative and someone who is unfit to hold the position of a minister of the federal Republic if the truth needs to be told for reasons displayed so far by his character of political rasciality and disrespect for the rule of law operating in two political parties at the same time. We are waiting to see what the president is going to do on this matter moving forward if we really want the nation to get out of this economic hardship. Sighting the president Bola Tinubu government that must understand the fact that it's time the citizens of Nigeria see him as a father to the nation and not as a cartel leader who covers all the wrongs mounted on the nation by his cronies. Already the Bola Tinubu group has been tagged as the most corrupt regime Nigeria ever witnessed in history where Ministers loot, commit financial crimes and would be protected by the president himself. For the people, it's either for Wike to resign or faces the EFCC for looting and illegal acquiring of landed properties by proxy in the United States with funds suspected to belong to FCT administration.

For even all the double speaking, criminally allocating Abuja lands to his sons, Nyesom Wike ought to have been arrested, tried, convicted and jailed by now. However, this is Nigeria, currently in the hand of a man whose entire life is all shade of criminality. So nothing new. It is sad, really sad. |

If you work, you chop shikena. Past FCT's ministers have illicit assets acquired during their tenures here in Abuja and Dubai, both in Lagos and other places, yet they didn't do half the work Wike is doing as a minister. |

This is the most weakest propaganda on the Internet. What's 2 million dollars for a former minister of education, and two term's governor of one of the richest state in Nigeria?. With a salary of 40+ million annually excluding running cost and estacodes which can be up to $5000-24,000 per night? There's no bloody money than in politics, it's more attractive than any legitimate work in the country maybe just the CBN governors, firs es,GMD NNPC,NLNG DG,and some federal heads of MDAs that earn more. |

Ipobidients and people of the Dotland coming in different colour and shades. From ICC will arrest Wike to Tinubu will disappoint Wike. Wike buying a property of mere $2m compared to your lord and saviour who has over a billion dollars stashed away in Pandora which deserves EFCC investigation? Nigerians know why you want Wike down and it won't work. |

Peter Obi bought a $2m house in GRA Ikeja using his brother and his company Next as a front while he was governor. Only to return after leaving office to resume as a director of the company to claim the property. It’s so blatantly obvious! You would have thought that people would say what’s going on here. This house was purchased while he was governor, can you explain and prove it wasn’t gov funds hidden under his brother/company? Everybody kept quiet as if they didn’t know it was govt money. I don’t have a problem with people calling for Wike to explain and he should but be consistent. Ask EFCC to probe Obi too. |

bdon123:Nonsense! Which rich family? Rich people steal! Peter obi instructed the MD of fidelity bank Faro collect money from Dasuki. Peter Obi’s aide was caught with N250m cash in boot at a check point. Peter an obi did not conduct LG elections for 7 years, what happened to the LG funds? He had security vote for 8 years. Same thing he did when he invested Anambra state money in a brewery he had investments in. Peter Obi has a track record of diverting state funds using his family company as a front/shell! |

The bottom line is the oropertvwas bought while he was a governor. Today that property is his property because he is a director in next. He owns shares on next and next owns the property. He should explain. Don’t worry we are piling up the things he will have to explain come election time including whether he is a homosexual or not! |

bdon123:1 we are not scared 2: the north backing him is a figment of your imagination 3: you called Tinubu a criminal, that is character assasination because he wasn’t convicted of any crime 4: I made no accusations. Your senior messiah and savior Nnamdi Kanu was the one who said he sleeps with men, it was Obi himself who said in an interview of honest Bunch, that he doesn’t care if his wife has affairs, it was Obidients recently defending homosexuality and Obidients received a lot of foreign sponsorship. I am only asking questions seeking clarifications. Don’t forget homosexuality is an offense in Nigeria and we would like it to remain such. So if a candidate possibly intends to legalize it we need to ask questions. |
