The Tripartite Team, a coalition of the OUK Movement, Reality Organization, and APC structures, has thrown its weight behind Senator Orji Uzor Kalu’s re-election bid, insisting there is “no vacancy” in the Abia North Senate seat ahead of the 2027 polls.

Speaking on ABN TV’s Political Perspective, Prince Emma Nwosu, convener of the group and an APC stalwart in Ohafia, said the team has grown into the most formidable political force in the area, boasting 62 formations and thousands of members mobilizing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senator Kalu, and other APC candidates.

“Before now, the party was divided, but Senator Kalu has brought peace and unity. Today, APC in Abia North is more formidable than ever,” Nwosu declared on ABN TV’s Political Perspective.

He argued that Kalu’s record of performance, coupled with his status as a ranking senator, makes him the most qualified candidate to retain the seat.

Nwosu further advised politicians from Ohafia pushing zoning arguments to drop their ambitions and rally behind the incumbent for the sake of competence and stability.

“Leadership is about competence and results, not sentiment,” he maintained.

With the APC banking on Kalu’s performance and projecting unity across its ranks, the party is optimistic of sweeping victories in 2027, from the presidency to the state assembly.

Can't we use this same energy hold the political leaders accountable for good mass orientation programmes instead of focusing on Obi, Atiku or Tinubu all the time? Governors are having double allocations with nothing to show for it at the state levels.

Though I'm not from South East but I haven't really heard of any significant or legacy projects this man left behind in Abia State while he was a governor other than looting the state blind that he was convicted for, but unfortunately, his people continue to vote for him at every election circle. Sadly, this same people voting for the likes of Theodore Oji, Kalu Oji are the ones pontificating of good governance in Nigeria. Tinubu is a disaster, Oji is a super performer.

It’s funny how the lazy youth always come on social media saying give the younger generation…….

Do you know how old Kalu was when he became a governor? Nobody gave it to him!

I gave up on Nigerian youths when after staging the ENDSARS riots which shook the govt, instead of them taking advantage of the movement and their demographic, they decided to surrender to 60+yr old fraud in Peter Obi and waste the momentum of the movement. Allowing themselves to be captured by a tribal agenda!

Nobody is giving you anything. You get what you work for. Tinubu was a senator at 40, Orji Kalu was a governor 39!

Secondly only citizens who don’t think, change a ranking senator who represents them. For instance if it were the turn of the south to become senate president, a first time senator can never be elected.

There is a reason assembly members don’t have term limits. If a senator is representing you well, keep re-electing him. Senate is not supposed to be a merry go round.

Orji Uzor Kalu is jittery. He knows that without Tinubu/APC rigging machinery, he cannot win senatorial district election.
