I don't get Lainey Reid. She made her debut undermining Jacy Jayne, now she's trying to cozy up to her.

You think they don't have a point clowning on wrestling? It's even more in the other parts of the world. You can't suspend your disbelief when logic isn't put in place.
Those things you highlighted that they consume is called fiction. And at the beginning of every fictional story, it's logic is established so nothing goes out of place in it. Wrestling doesn't use fiction. It uses sport. In fact there is no space for any genre to be applied because it's not a full blown movie as half of it's programming is real sport. The elements of entertainment are the presentation of the combatants as good guys or bad guys. So yes, they reserve the right to clown on wrestling because it's promoters have made it a joke for years and it's not funny.

UFC fighters have to get medical attention after their fights, both winner and loser.
Wrestlers only need that after a hardcore match when they go through a table or drop from a significant height.
Pro wrestling is fiction. Make peace with that.
