Jehovah's Witnesses religious leaders and their revisionist tendencies

Who is a REVISIONIST. This is someone who examines and tries to change existing beliefs about how events happened or what their importance or meaning is

How have these religious leaders applied their revisionist tendencies in providing answers to their question, who are Jehovah's witnesses and how old is the religion of Jehovah’s Witnesses?

Their answer:

According to the Bible, the line of witnesses of Jehovah reaches back to faithful Abel.
the above answer is from the reasoning book published by the same religious organization. Which is the same interpretation and beliefs they hold on to this day. Was that the case in years back as far back as 1934? Definitely NO.

Now see the same religion describing who are Jehovah's Witnesses in the watchtower August 15 1934.......

The name Jehovah's witnesses applies specifically to God's anointed who have been taken out of the world and made witnesses for Jehovah.................

Therefore where there is a company of Jehovah's Witnesses that is, the anointed ones, the leader of a study should be selected from amongst the anointed.
What they are simply saying here is Jehovah's Witnesses simply refer to 144,000 people who they refer to as anointed Christians in their midst. Anyone in their midst not part of this 144,000 is not an anointed Christian and therefore not a Jehovah's witness. This automatically cancel out their belief that long line of Jehovah's Witnesses started with Abel.

Whenever they come with the propaganda of Jehovah's Witnesses started with Abel show them as at 1934 their teachings or doctrines never count Abel as an anointed Christian, the same anointed Christians who are specifically referred to as Jehovah's Witnesses grin cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

Nice one. The similarities are much. If a JW says he or she believes in Jesus but not in the Faithful and Discreet slave and will only follow Jesus, the JW is treated as an Apostate and dis fellowshipped even though such disfellowshipping isn't biblical.
They don't like other Christian denomination always referring to Jesus. It is one of the basis they regard them as false Christians and like you stated any Jehovah's witnesses emphasis on Jesus will be questioned and if the person insist, he gets removed

Just imagine the very useless new light. As useless as P in psychology. What good does this new light do for a JW? And what was the essence of the Ban on toasting in the first place? Pointless rules like the ones set by Pharisees.

Have you noticed that it's only when JWs drop a comment on this thread that it gets to the next page?
Jesus said about apostates:

Offspring of vipers, how can you speak good things when you are wicked? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The good man out of his good treasure sends out good things, whereas the wicked man out of his wicked treasure sends out wicked things Matthew 12:34, 35

Even the good things Jesus distributed has been taken away from them so spiritually speaking they are empty! Matthew 25:28-30

The beard issues.......

Will men wear beards again in Paradise?
Don't forget the "again" used in that question. I repeat don't forget the "again" used in that question. The ban was already in place.

Their response to the question above..........

These are typical questions to which Jehovah has not provided answers at this time. Do you think it wise for Christians to take time from more profitable Bible study to speculate on the answers?"...... Watchtower 1962 Jun 15 p.381
Did you see the part that says Jehovah has not provided answers at this time? Since the power to think and interpret the scriptures has been taken away from members, you see how easy to control their members with such a question like...........

Will men wear beards again in paradise?
Before this time and at this stage wearing beards was a no go area. The reasonable question to ask here is, what did the Bible say regarding wearing beards from the time of the Israelites to the time of the apostles? No account or verse of the bible was against wearing beards. It is purely the religious leaders of Jehovah's Witnesses teaching commands of men as doctrine and making it look as Jehovah directly ban wearing of beards by adding that....

These are typical questions to which Jehovah has not provided answers at this time.
In reality Jehovah has no business with wearing beards or not today or in paradise. It is just men lying and manipulating people using the name Jehovah to control their members. grin cheesy grin cheesy

Who set up the ban? Rutherford

Why the ban on wearing beards? Read what follows.......

Note: “Brother Balzereit asked Brother Rutherford for permission to buy a rotary press. Brother Rutherford saw the necessity and agreed, but on one condition. He had noticed that over the years Brother Balzereit had grown a beard very similar to the one that had been worn by Brother Russell. His example soon caught on, for there were others who also wanted to look like Brother Russell. Somehow or other this could give rise to a tendency toward creature worship, and Brother Rutherford wanted to prevent this.

So during his next visit, within hearing of all the Bible House family, he told Brother Balzereit that he could buy the rotary press but only on the condition that he shave off his beard.Brother Balzereit sadly agreed and afterward went to the barber. During the next few days, there were several cases of mistaken identity and some funny situations because of the "stranger" who was sometimes not recognized by his fellow workers........ ." 1974 Yearbook of Jehovah's Witnesses pp.97-98
grin cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

When you see Jehovah's witnesses with beards today, have it as a note that the religious leaders of that religious organization gave a new direction on wearing beards after lifting the ban that was in place years back.

Hahahahahaha

I feel sorry for the rank and file who allow these men in NY to control their lives.

So now it's cool to acquire higher (additional) education after demonizing it for hundreds of years?

Millions of people gave up going to university to further their lives and now live in poverty - so it was all for nothing?!

It was all about control.

What's next?

Birthdays, Christmas, Blood transfusions?

The continuation........

Have there been regulations and ban on wearing beards?

Directive to shave appears in the 2001 Theocratic Ministry School Book.
"For men, a neat personal appearance may include being clean-shaven. In areas where mustaches are widely viewed as dignified, any who wear these should keep them neatly trimmed." Benefit From Theocratic Ministry School Education (2001) p.133
So might want to hide behind it is a personal decision back then. A look at the guidelines below for convention drama just tells you the whole story regarding the beard ban. For assignments at conventions and assemblies, specific instruction is given against using brothers with beards

Dress and Grooming

Those giving talks should wear suits. If your talk calls for an interview or a demonstration, please do not use any brother who wears a beard and make sure your participants are aware of the importance of good grooming and modest dress." 2009 Talk Outline
In addition.......

False beards should be prepared or obtained. It is not proper for brothers to grow their own beards.” 2002 “Zealous Kingdom Proclaimers” District Convention Drama “Stand Firm in Troublesome Times (Jeremiah)” booklet with the script and guidelines.
Even when acting drama, you cannot grow beards. You need to get a false beard to join the drama cheesy grin grin grin

How does all of the above shows they are true worshipers according to their defenders here? Read the below for your answer cheesy grin grin grin

Ironically, in the Scriptures, it is the pagan nations such as Egypt, Greece, and Rome where clean-shaven men were the norm.

Re: A Thread For Former Nigerian Jehovah's Witnesses by achorladey:
Don't fall for the manipulations. It is simply a means to look separate from others despite being same.

Watchtower May 2025......So, then, if Jesus felt that strongly about Jehovah’s name
Jesus felt strongly about God's name and never use the name(the tetrgrammaton)once except when reading from the scriptures. In his model prayer what he used and kept using was father.

Apostle Paul who was handpicked by Jesus to take the goodnews to the people of the world who don't know God when writing about God said..... There is to us One God - The Father . Paul never called or addressed God as Jehovah or any Tetrgrammaton

Watchtower May 2025...... how can someone claim to be a genuine follower of Christ and not know or use the name of his Father?
What they do best is to claim lies on behalf of those they call false Christians cheesy

JESUS who is not a Christian doesn't qualify to be a Christian then for not using God's name.

Apostle Paul and other writer of the New Testament are not genuine christians since they don't use Jehovah or the Tetrgrammaton as God's name.

John 1:12......However, to all who did receive him, he gave authority to become God's children because they were exercising faith in his name(Jesus not even God's name).

Knowing God by the name Jehovah or using it becomes irrelevant as criteria for being genuine christian.

As long as Paul is a genuine Christian without using Jehovah or the tetrgrammaton the criteria of using God's name as an identifying mark of true Christians is irrelevant. cheesy grin grin grin

Jesus Christ stated in Matthew 12: 37.....The words you say will either acquit you or condemn you.”

Does the words of Watchtower acquits or condemn the establishment regarding the 1975 saga of the world coming to an end? Read what follows as explanation given over the doctrines related to 1975 and the massive disappointment and exit of members in the year that follows.....

If anyone has been disappointed ....he should now concentrate on adjusting his viewpoint, seeing that it was not the word of God that failed or deceived him and brought disappointment, but his own understanding was based on wrong premises...... WT 7/15/76
Two points:

1. Alright God's word do not fail or deceive

2. The Governing Body teach their followers wrong premises and make their followers understand, believe and trust the Bible on wrong premises called spiritual food at the right time that fails, leads to disappointment and definitely meant to deceive to keep people captives of the religious organization.

This is not how God works throughout the history but people who'll allow themselves to be deceived will still be on earth.

Jehovah’s witnesses say they don't have a clergy

😂🤣😂🤣🤣

Didn’t Jehovah’s Witnesses say that “all baptized members are ordained ministers and share in the preaching and teaching work”?

Yes they did.

Jehovah’s Witnesses also allow some unbaptized members, known as unbaptized publishers, to share in the preaching and teaching work. Does that make them ordained ministers?

Yes it does
.

One does not need to be baptized to be ordained. When a religious organisation appoints a member to carry out certain duties, they are ordained. Therefore, whether baptized or not, Jehovah’s Witnesses can be ordained to share in the preaching and teaching work. Ordaining all members to share in the preaching and teaching work does not necessarily mean that Jehovah’s Witnesses do not have a clergy-laity distinction.

According to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, clergy is defined as “a group of members ordained to perform pastoral or sacerdotal functions within a Christian church”. If the Jehovah’s Witnesses do not have a clergy-laity distinction, one can safely assume that any ordained member can perform pastoral or sacerdotal functions. Is this true for Jehovah’s Witnesses?

No.

Like any other Christian denomination, only certain members can perform marriages, baptisms and funerals. In most Christian denominations, these individuals are recognized as clergy. Within Jehovah’s Witnesses, they are known as elders.

Jehovah's Witnesses have clergy in their midst cheesy grin grin grin

Gary Breaux........

In our day, there is another group of men that are sitting at one table - Our Governing Body.

They never lie or deceive us. We can have absolute trust in the Governing Body. They meet all the criteria that Jesus gave us to identify the Governing Body.

We know exactly who Jesus is using to protect people from the lies.
The lies you are protected from and the Governing Body don't want you to see

1. No where Jesus said some men will be at the table in 2000 years and be reffered to as Governing Body of Christians

2. The same Governing Body in the magazines states

a. The preaching work will end in the 20th century. Up till today they are still preaching. A lie and deception.

b. The world won't survive past 1975, this is 2025 another half of a century after that lie and deception.

c. 1914 was meant to be the end of the system of things 111 years after the lie and deception got changed to 1914 is the start of the last days.

d. Last days began in 1914 a lie and deception debunked by Peter when he stated in Acts the last days as already in place since 33 A.D

3. Tell a Jehovah’s witnesses as a Roman Catholic that you have absolute trust in the Vicar - the Pope and see Jehovah’s witnesses ask you turn to Psalms 146: 3,4. The Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses are not human beings like the Pope. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣. Imagine, absolute trust in mere humans who tell lies.

4. Jesus did not give any criteria to refer anyone or anybody as Governing Body. The Christians in 33 C.E were not given any criteria by Jesus Christ to identity Peter and the rest of the disciples as Governing Body grin cheesy grin grin

5. You know exactly who is using the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses to advance lies and manipulations of millions of people.

The biggest red flag here is...... A fellow man telling you some group of men don't tell lies or deceive grin cheesy grin grin

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through.
Re: A Thread For Former Nigerian Jehovah's Witnesses by achorladey: 6:28pm On Jan 18
When an AI specifically designed to defend the Governing Body was held to her own commitment to truth, logic, and Scripture, the result was remarkable. She was forced to conclude that:

1. The Governing Body taught an unauthorized doctrine in Jehovah's name.

2. This constitutes the capital sin described in Deuteronomy 18:20.

3. The Governing Body cannot be the "faithful and discreet slave"

4. Jehovah's Witnesses must separate from their authority to obey God.

5. Christ, not the Governing Body, feeds His sheep directly through Scripture.

What's the name of this AI? Find out cheesy grin grin
Re: A Thread For Former Nigerian Jehovah's Witnesses by achorladey: 6:54pm On Jan 18
When that same AI was required to treat the Governing Body the way Watchtower publications treat the pope, Christendom's clergy, or any other religious authority, the conclusion became inevitable.

The same scriptures the organization has applied to every other religion for 140 years—Deuteronomy 18:20, Acts 5:29, Revelation 18:4—condemned the Governing Body when applied consistently.

The problem was never the Scriptures. The problem was the exemption clause quietly inserted for one small group of men in Warwick, New York.

Remove the exemption, and the emperor has no clothes.
Re: A Thread For Former Nigerian Jehovah's Witnesses by achorladey: 4:02pm On Feb 22
When religion centres on doctrine over mercy
Matthew 25: 37 Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me

Key here
.....

The sheep did not know their act of kindness was done to Jesus. Their motive for doing so was not an approval for salvation. For Jehovah's witnesses it is an approval for salvation and their act of kindness are dictated.

They did it not because they were told but because of who they were inside in person. For Jehovah's witnesses the conscience, acts of kindness and mercy are regimented, regulated and dictated.

Now let's see Jehovah's witnesses version cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

We feel that it is an honor to help Christ’s brothers by preaching. We also help by donating money and working hard to build Kingdom Halls, Assembly Halls, and branch offices. When we loyally obey the elders and other brothers appointed by “the faithful and discreet slave,” we show that we want to help Christ’s brothers.
Soon the remaining anointed ones will receive the final sealing. Then the angels will let go of “the four winds of the earth,” and the great tribulation will begin. (Revelation 7:1-3) Before Armageddon begins, Jesus will take the anointed to heaven. (Matthew 13:41-43) So if we want to be judged as sheep when Jesus comes, now is the time to be loyal to Christ’s anointed brothers.
cheesy grin cheesy grin

Doctrine of Jehovah's witnesses is

1. Today, we understand the parable of the sheep and the goats clearly. We know that “the Son of man,” or “the King,” is Jesus. The King’s “brothers” are those who are anointed with holy spirit and who will rule in heaven with Jesus.

2. loyalty to the Governing Body is more important than whatever act of kindness and mercy you show to people that are of lesser means in the society you love.

3. The act of kindness and mercy Jesus talked about in Mathew 25:37 according to Jehovah's witness doctrine involves giving the Governing Body money to build kingdom halls, assembly halls, branches cheesy grin grin grin

In summary the religion centres more on what their doctrine dictates over mercy or act of kindness. To be a sheep, you must be loyal to the Governing body and do acts of kindness and mercy dictated by the Governing Body.

Did Joseph Franklin Rutherford ban going to war because of misinterpretation of Romans 13:1

Yes, Joseph Franklin Rutherford, the second president of the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society, did instruct Jehovah’s Witnesses to refrain from going to war, a stance that was heavily influenced by a reinterpretation of Romans 13:1 during the World War I period.

Here are the key details regarding this shift:

Therefore, it was not merely a "misinterpretation" in the conventional sense, but a deliberate theological shift to a strict neutralist position that led to the prohibition of military service for the group
