Let’s face it — AI is changing the way business is done everywhere, including Nigeria. Freelancers are using AI to write articles, design graphics, and build websites. Small businesses are using it for ads, voiceovers, and even customer service. Students are using it for research and content creation. But here’s the problem most people don’t notice: we are paying for too many tools separately. 👉 One subscription for content writing (ChatGPT, Claude, DeepSeek). 👉 Another for design (Canva, Leonardo, MidJourney). 👉 Another for video (Pika Labs, Synthesia, Runway). 👉 Another for voiceover or avatars. Before you know it, you’re juggling 5–10 dashboards and burning through thousands of naira monthly. In fact, a report by Startup Genome noted that over 65% of startups now rely on AI daily, but a lot of them admit they waste money on overlapping tools. ✅️A Different Approach I Recently Discovered I came across something interesting during my research: instead of subscribing to 7–10 AI tools separately, there are platforms that now allow you to access hundreds of AI models from a single dashboard. That means instead of: 1️⃣Logging into one tool to write content, 2️⃣Another to create logos, 3️⃣Another to generate videos, 4️⃣Another to build websites, …you just log in once, and everything is in one place. Imagine creating a website with Claude, writing the content with ChatGPT, designing the logo with Leonardo, building the landing page with Canva AI, and promoting it with Copilot — all without switching apps or paying extra subscriptions. I know of one freelancer who tested this approach. He didn’t have much experience (he only used ChatGPT once before, just for jokes). He decided to create a new Fiverr account and offered services like: 💥Websites & landing pages 💥Logos & 3D mockups 💥Motion videos & talking avatars 💥Articles & ad copy All of this was generated using one dashboard that gave him access to multiple AI tools. Here’s the crazy part: even though his Fiverr account was brand new with zero reviews, clients loved his work because: 1️⃣The quality looked professional. 2️⃣His delivery time was hours instead of days. Within a few days, his gigs were getting orders — simply because he was able to combine multiple AI outputs without stress. Now, this got me thinking… 👉 Do you think Nigerian entrepreneurs and freelancers will embrace an all-in-one AI hub (where everything is under one roof)? 👉 Or will people still prefer using separate subscriptions for ChatGPT, Canva, MidJourney, etc., even though it costs more? I’d love to hear what the Nairaland business community thinks. |
