DoctorStanley:
Why is it people always repeat popular aphorisms, no matter how false. If not for crime will Tinubu be president today? If not for coup crime would Buhari have served two terms as president? And IBB, OBJ, Abacha, Rawlings, Gowon, etc. Crime clearly paid them.
Even in this case, the original person(s) who stole and sold the car will probably never be found, assuming even the CBC reports it to the police
Are you saying that crime pays?

come out clear

Strong argument however sinister, I agree with you . Crime pays

We all wish it doesn't. But truth is, without crime America would not exist - it was criminal to steal Indians' land. Just as it was criminal to steal people from Africa and enslave them, and criminal British had stolen our natural resources, etc

Toronto Police are very useless. They dont care to retrieve those cars at the port before being shipped out of Canada.

Car stolen second time in six years ? The white man is a fraudster using black guys to do insurance scam
I tell you, it's very suspicious. Plus his documents were in the car - indicating they used it to transport the car, being sure he had NOT reported it stolen at that point

Same exact way? Not likely. The owner is probably in on it. People tend to repeat something that worked before. He could have installed alarm or something, he didn't

it’s very obvious now. If you check well most of his friends are Nigerians and Ghanaians . He collect money twice , those guys will pay him like 3k per car then insurance will pay him like 25k. The man clear out 28k Canadian per car 😂😂

Perhaps there are gangs stealing cars and shipping them to west Africa countries.
The Canadia police needs to do their homework and bust those criminal syndicates
Overseas police are doing there best. The situation is just overwhelming for them due to the hustle spirit of these criminals plus new car tech that plugs the old methods and creating sweatless methods for stealing cars.

Modern car tech allow criminals come to your door step, spread an antenna wire, capture your key fob signal, relay it to a clone one, start your car where you park it, off they go. No guns, no robbery. Thanks to newer car tech in the name of luxury and comfort.

If I buy a car in Nigeria as foreign used, you won't come all the way from Canada to claim a car I paid for legally. I don't have any business with you. I didn't steal the car; it was bought and fully paid for.
Which middle class person go fit afford brand new car for Nigeria, even the smallest Matrix or Corolla.

It wasn't stolen but rather discovered.

On second thought maybe it wasn't carelessness (nobody can be that careless), maybe they used it to transport the car, being sure the owner had NOT reported it stolen at that point (because he was in on it!)
"in on it" because he won't make a police report for insurance and they won't conduct an investigation that could very quickly establish his culpability in a transatlantic criminal case that could very easily send him to jail. Nigerians baffle me honestly grin

Which "investigation"? Insurance investigators will simply obtain the video to make sure he's not the one who took the car. That's the end of it. They'll quickly pay because they don't want to give people ideas and because they want to maintain reputation of quickly paying claims!

The real criminals are the Canadian police gang and the Canadian export agency gang that gives clearance to all exported cars without checking if the cars have being reported stolen. If it has not been reported stolen means some Canadians are into this for issuance benefit or something

Ghanians are also involved in this mess? Wonderful.
Also??
They are the main culprits in this type of crime. They have gangs and syndicates. Sometimes they'd have one or two Nigerians among them. Ghanians do not like Nigerians. Nigerians, for reasons beyond my ken, like Ghanians. Ghanians would not ordinarily join in any cooperative endeavour with Nigerians, unless they have a plan for the Nigerians. So when a Nigerian is among Ghanian involved in cars, mobile phones theft abroad for the purpose of sending these stolen items to Africa, the purpose the Ghanians have for the Nigerian is as the ones to apportion blame if things go irredeemably wrong such as if they are caught and the media comes calling. Jail time or fines may be inevitable for all but the average Ghanian has such love for his nation that his last gasp effort would be to save his Nation shame even if he himself is finished. The Nigerians, if among, would be there merely for the role of being the ones to be blamed as those that led the Ghanians astray. And with vague ridiculous hope thire presence could lead investigatiors in a different direction.
