I think West ham deserve to be relegated this season. What a terrible performance at home thereby making Chelsea to be unplayable. Useless team plus terrible coach.

Sports generally is a cut-throat business, Chelsea too releases Guehi, Salah, De Bruyne and Russo etc. all celebrated internationals who didn't make their grades...

It's nothing to these professionals, it's part of the game...
..

Let's use guehi as an example.. Liverpool wants guehi, Chelsea wants guehi but guehi has only chosen Liverpool despite being a former Chelsea player that was sold or released for not being good enough..

Do you get my point now, naturally, I wouldn't go back to the club that didn't believe in me ..

Because Arsenal used Kai Harvetz injury to sharperly collect Eze from crystal palace, Liverpool too want to use Frimpong injury to collect Guehi from crystal palace. Na so palace coach release statement this morning say they're not selling again. Go and look for your right wing back elsewhere grin

No team reached Arsenal's level during this transfer window cool
With his contract ending in the summer, the coach is only yapping and club won't be stupid to let him go for free and most importantly guehi is not replacing frimpong.. guehi is not a right wing back but a CB

Chelsea has not been serious with his transfer else I believe he will join them being a London boy... Maresca want a defender signed, the Management want internal solutions ( academy or one of their loan players) to the backline few players would want to be in situation where opinions about them are split...

He wouldn't..

He might not be holding grudges, but he would have choosed moved on from chelsea and anything that has to do with Chelsea ..

Chelsea needs a CB like yday so I don't see why they wont be serious with him ..

The aforementioned is simply the case, it has nothing to do with Chelsea being serious or not...

When I said the Board was to blame for the failure of the past season because no money was released to sign players despite the injury crisis, I have been vindicated.

Board intervention means there's no need to sell a player before they buy. If the manager has to sell a player then no investment was made.

Last season, no investment was made. Arsenal sold two attacking players to cover a defensive and midfield problem.

In January, no player was signed despite a season ending injury to Jesus. Then suddenly we were left with no strikers at all when Kai got injured.

This season we have tasted what it means to have an investment.

Seven players signed, over 250m spent without have to sell anyone. Havertz got injured and the following day Eze is signed for 60m+.

This is how Pep and other top managers win titles.

You cannot blame a workman, when you've given him no tools. You cannot fault a student when he's got no learning aids.

Now that the Board has done the right things, everyone will back an Arteta sack if he doesn't bring home at least two titles, including a major one this season.

The bolded is subjective. That's because probably 99% of those who rejected him are no longer with the club. Also, for some the rejection itself can even be the motivation to sign.

Anybody can sign or choose any club and their choices and reasons remain personal.

Choice of club to sign for includes several reasons and does not ultimately depend on affiliations.

For example, if Arsenal had not equalled Spurs deal, love for Arsenal won't make Eze change his mind. Again if Spurs were a top two PL club and Arsenal finished 14th last season probably the choice would have been different too.

So it doesn't simply boil down to which club you love more. When all things are equal, individuals will choose base on their own scale of preferences, which completely differs from one individual to another.

Welcome home Eze...

"We are absolutely delighted to bring Eberechi to Arsenal. He is a powerful and exciting player who will give us a new dimension in our attacking game.

"What stands out just as much as his talent and intelligence as a player, is the way he has worked hard throughout his career to get where he is today.

"His journey, his mentality, and his ambition are exactly what we want in our team, and we love how much it means to him and his family to be joining our club. We all look forward to start working with Eberechi soon." - Arteta

We need to change this setpiece arrangement to exempt Gyokeres. Normally the style is a style for absence of a 9. We have a 9 now, let him choose to stay where he can distract and pressure the CBs instead of joining them and Gabi whispering where and when to move or stay or what to do abeg.

I pray he is okay too. Baba needs to trust Ethan and Max till he comes back. Odegaard will need at least 2 weeks break.

We're still playing as if we don't have a striker. I understand it's still early and revolution stage but the earlier the better.

... Nwaneri needs to be tidy with the ball. Just keep it simple. That ball he lost just before the second goal may result to a goal against us another day.
