Some smart eye glasses have cameras that allow the wearer to discreetly record videos. Some policemen that abuse their powers have been exposed by smart glasses wearers who recorded videos of them committing illegal acts.

In this video the policeman tried to snatch the motorist's glasses when he realised that he was being recorded.

Following a thorough preliminary investigation, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh, has ordered the immediate detention of the entire team. The officers will face an orderly room trial in line with established disciplinary procedures to ensure justice is served swiftly and transparently.

In addition, the entire Tactical Squad implicated in this matter has been dissolved with immediate effect. A new Tactical Squad has been constituted, comprising officers who will adhere strictly to international best practices in policing. This new unit will operate with zero tolerance for corruption, while upholding the highest standards of respect for human rights and human dignity.

The Lagos State Police Command remains committed to serving and protecting the public with integrity and fairness. We urge all residents to continue cooperating with law enforcement agencies and to report any misconduct through our established channels.

Police must start wearing body cams and also mental evaluation must be carried out on all officers.

It is not about the Policemen, it is about Nigerians. Give an average Nigerian a small power or weapon and see what he becomes thereafter. You will marvel at his wickedness!
The goodness and progress of a nation is in the hearts of it's people. Whatever they harbour in their beliefs is what the country will become. Simply take a look at the big countries doing well today, you will see the reflection in how their citizens/indigenes behave.

The Police officer can't beg him if he is wearing a spy glasses, he will still trend negatively. The Nigerian Policemen know they always err and always flout same laws they were employed to uphold.
Even in the US that started body cams for the US Police, we still see what some of their Policemen do with the cams when they want to do the wrong thing. Sometimes, they turn it off. They manipulate it. They too are not so comfortable with being recorded. You have to be exceptionally good to be comfortable with cameras, cos it will expose you beyond your imaginations
I always admire the UK Police, I feel they are the friendliest in the world. I don't live in the UK but I still see in lots of videos how they conduct themselves very professionally and with less aggression. They are very impressive!
