Take a simple look at the comments that followed up with the post, personally I'm disappointed at them.... Supposed learned people who do business with people from different spheres,tribes and ethnicity tend to derive pleasure from tribalism

The last election did us more harm than good as a nation, it created more enmity amongst tribes, created divides among Nigerians. That's the price we get from bigotry. The election personally thought me to be on my lane, mind my business and careless about my next door neighbor.

Immigration to a land is an indicator that such a land is prosperous while the mass exodus of people from a region is the opposite.
Nobody is being tribalistic here except those who have chosen to constantly provoke their hosts for no just cause and if you think the Yorubas are being overactive, please go to Kano and start calling it a no-man’s land even as a joke and let’s see how it goes. You don’t upset a people and still dictate to them how they must react. Let’s be honest with ourselves at least for once, can an average ibo man stand seeing strangers calling his village a no-man’s land or a filthy place? Why doing unto others what you will never tolerate? Why is everyone now acting like it’s abnormal for these people (the Yorubas) to be reacting this way?
Do you think this would have been the result if it’s the Hausas that the ibos are disrespecting this way? Do you think the Fulanis would have resorted to online jabs and name-calling if it was Sokoto or Kano that’s being repeatedly called a no-man’s land? Sadly, you have forgotten to mention your state. However, I am very certain that your only claim to Lagos is “Yoruba”. Unfortunately for you, others are Lagosians, irrespective of their tribes, religion and culture. The only option for you is self immolation.

What you have failed to find out is that prosperity has no limits, and knows not boundaries. Only lazy youths like you - going by Mrs. BAT and PMB - wait for crumbs, claiming ownership of lands that you never inherited in the first place. That’s why the cement seller in Ogbomosho, Keffi, Auchi, etc can get wealthy. What has brought Nigerians together in Lagos and other areas of the country is the fact that the constitution allows everyone to move and associate freely as Nigerians. So irrespective of where you originate, you can reside, purchase properties and do your business as you wish in every corner of the country, unhindered. The constitution guarantees you that and it can be enforced constitutionally if anyone infringes on your rights.
If people say certain areas are dirty, why do you swoon? Why not ask them to join hands with government to clean up the areas and make them all very habitable? What you think will snowball into “what you might later live to regret” happened 58 years ago and you did not experience it personally. Perhaps it is time for you to personally to experience the pain.
