On the portal. For each shares, you will see the registrar for that particular company.
Take down the names of those registrars and contact them via email or phone.
Approach a stockbroking firm and a stockbroking account will be opened for him(Estate of NAME OF DAD).
You will need to get some documents like death certificate, newspaper publication, the company will also do their own search and you pay a certain amount depending on the stockbroker, court documents, letter of admin and his bank account needs to be converted to an estate account also.

Once you have all the requirements requested to you are good.

Those shares will be dematerialised ie converted to a e-copy since many people then have physical certificates.
They can also carry out another service to track if there are other shares he bought in his name then(it's called Global search).

Your stockbroker will also liaise with the registrars once account is opened and documents is in place.
The last part is for the registrars to credit your late Dad CSCS Account with those shares and start paying unclaimed dividends as long they are satisfied with documents provided

Since you have a stock broking account then you have it already. Run through the mails or documents you were given when the account was opened.

I have always suspected that most of the unfortunate beings that are online defending the evil men looting their future away, are shamelessly getting paid for the dirty job.

You would wonder how a sane human will defend his opressors, who have denied him good life. No road, no good hospital, poor education..meanwhile these evil men will travel out for good medical care, attend good schools abroad..and send their kids abroad, because everything here is rotten..yet an ordinary citizent will defend them.

The overdependence of women on men in this country is messed up, but it is what it is. You can’t claim to be the head of the family, refuse to help domestically, cheat recklessly, and still want to split bills.

Two-thirds of Nigerian men treat women as subordinates, don’t assist them at home, dictate who they should vote for, cheat without restraint, and still expect loyalty.
Since that’s the case, then footing all the bills 100% should be a small price for them to pay.
You can’t be traditional and liberal at the same time.

That said, I’m not saying you're wrong. Both the men and women are equally at fault in this issue.

Contact the registrars handling those companies he has shares, they will send you forms and instructions on how to go about it. Also for his unclaimed dividends.
