⚡Secretary of State Marco Rubio talks about why the US is preparing to invade Venezuela: Maduro's elections were completely rigged. Russia's presence in Venezuela is noticeable, and Iran's influence is growing. The Iranians are building drone manufacturing plants there, right in our hemisphere. Additionally, the Venezuelan regime issues illegitimate but genuine passports to Hezbollah forces.

ariesbull:That's the same mistake Xi Jinping will make when he wants to take over Taiwan. Few days ago,Taiwan president was rubbishing him in Kinmen(2km from mainland China). China can't even fly over Taiwan, the closest they have come is 50km from mainland Taiwan. Sometimes I wonder if these two autocratic leaders are too soft on their adversaries or is it fear of USA😀 |

All your so called heroes are now making mistakes. Pootin is making mistake, Xi Jumping will also make mistake. Maybe you should apply for the presidency of those countries and teach them what to do since they are not wise enough |

Ricchmoen:It is true though. Hezbollah has had a presence in South America for decades. Read about the AMIA attack in Argentina when Hezbollah was on the up-and-up and still engaged in controversial asymmetric warfare. In recent years, they've made Venezuela their regional HQ. E get why US itself no dey follow Hezbollah drag. Na Israel dem dey use. Because Hezbollah is uniquely able to inflict pain on the US at home. They'll not take responsibility, but there'll be fires and shootings and sabotage attacks. Hezbollah also has major ties with the South American drug cartels. If Trump presses on with his kinetic war on the cartels, Hezbollah will eat good. Lebanese traitors are the Achilles heel of Hezbollah. For all the flak I and many give Iran, they're unarguably the best on the planet in building an armed paramilitary group. Few paramilitaries can endure what Hamas has had to deal with. Hezbollah, the PMF and Kataib Hezbollah, the Houthis. Green Berets should be taking lessons from the IRGC on that specific competence. The major concern with the coming war in Venezuela is logistics. How will the Axis be able to send supplies? Russia has already set the precedence. Any Iranian, Hezbollah, and Russian/Wagner cargo/personnel in Venezuela will be fair game to the US. The plan is to decapitate the Venezuelan hierarchy and the opposition aided by Ukraine-trained Colombian mercs will finish the job. This is the one conflict I do not fancy the chances of the Axis. As all the traditional security guarantors of Venezuela are dealing with their own sh*t. Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah. Supreme Leader Kim always drops an assist, but I fear this time it'll be a drop in the ocean for Venezuela. Lastly, all POTUSes try to snipe Venezuela. Biden approved a limited operation in two waves. Maduro smoked them. This is looking to be a larger, more convoluted operation; so Maduro has his work cut out for him. Assad was invincible until he wasn't. -Lord |

MERCHANDISER:During the cold war, most countries not in the immediate spheres of influence of the duopoly huddled into a non-aligned movement because the Soviets matched the West in brutality. Coups and counter coups. Interventions of all kinds. Putin and Xi are applying lessons learned from the Cold War. It's worked well so far. BRICS is hot. SCO is hot. Everyone wants to join and boost ties with the multipolar leaders, as Xi and Putin seem like reasonable folks dealing with a psychopathic Hegemony. But as with all things, this approach has its pros and cons. -Lord |

WriteerNg:The usual tactics of a cowardly bully: carefully and painstakingly chosen fights, where her chances of getting beaten are reduced to the barest minimum so she appears to possess untold might before and after her conquest. In this case they can't even pretend to use Guyana as Ukraine 2.0 to fight a proxy war. The Pentagon has gamed the different scenarios, having realised that their is a real chance of a success, has gone all in under the guise of Maduro being the head of a drug cartel only the Pentagon is aware of. But I bet Maduro won't go down without giving the cowards a run for their money: 4k invaders vs 4.5M militia. If the US is disgraced here, like she was in Vietnam and, recently, by the Taliban after spending trillions of dollars she never had, just know the whistle has been blown on her demise. We can begin to countdown to the fall of the mighty - and what a fall it would be! I am optimistic here that this (mis)adventure would dial up her end several notches higher than we have hoped for. Venezuela could well be a slippery slope. We are watching and sipping chilled kunu while at it. |

bryght4u:I don't care whether they succeed or not. I just want to see Russian supplied missiles slamming hard on targets in Washington and New York city. The US thinks it's invincible because of its geographic location. No one in the Americas has missiles that can reach US mainland. |

⚡JD Vance: I didn’t say the Russians conceded on everything. But what they have conceded is the recognition that Ukraine will have territorial integrity after the war. They’ve recognized that they’re not going to be able to install a puppet regime in Kyiv, that was a major demand at the beginning.
