Kindly ask what you want to know about it. Daad has different scholarships, which one exactly do you need help with it's application and do you have about 2 years post graduate work experience?

Hello everyone.

Please, I need help with filling this online form for my health insurance. I am using MAWISTA.

Period of Insurance; How many months should I indicate? My lecture starts on 6th October. And, I may not be in the country before then.

Begin of study* (study starts in october.) End of study* (This I do not know).

Although, the program is a 3 year program. That is, 6 semesters.

What do I fill?
Where you able to fill this successfully without paying?

I tried to fill mine but it's requesting I input my credit card details, I thought I am supposed to pay when I get to Germany? Or do I necessarily have to input my card details?

I'm also using Mawista, if there is another better option, pls let me know.

The option for credit card states there will be deduction after I apply, while for SEPA debit, I don't have a German account number. So wch option is it?

You mean you submitted your health insurance when you went for interview?

Wch health insurance did you use? And did you make payment prior?

I'm trying to register with Mawista but it's requesting for credit card details whc I don't have.

You are good to go. Please any documents sent to you via mail(admission letter, block account confirmation, incoming insurance etc) you just need a copy while other documents like your birth certificate, degree certificate etc you need to have one photocopy and original. Regardless of your appointment time just be there before 7am they don't follow timing of appointment, also have up to 140k in your ATM card, and if u are coming with cash they don't accept ₦500, and your ₦1000 must be neat, the total they collected for visa fees during mine is 133k.pls prepare for what u study in your undergraduate and little mathematics. Best of luck.
Thank you so much.

Good evening everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well. Please, I’d like to ask if anyone here has recently attended a visa interview for a Social Science program—particularly Political Science, Sociology, or Economics. It would be really helpful if you could kindly share the type of oral and written interview questions you were asked during your session.

I believe this information will not only guide me but also support others who are preparing for similar interviews. Thanks so much in advance, folks—I truly appreciate your input.

Good evening, everyone. My interview date is fast approaching, and I want to make sure that I am fully prepared with all the necessary documents. Below is the list of what I have gathered so far. I would really appreciate it if someone could kindly help me review and confirm if I am missing anything important:

1. Completed VIDEX application form along with the additional declaration

2. One biometric passport photograph

3. International passport

4. Birth certificate (certified copy) and Declaration of Age

5. Prepaid courier envelope

6. School leaving certificates (Junior Secondary Certificate Examination and WASSC certificate)

7. Proof of previous/current academic studies (BSc certificate and transcript)

8. Letter of motivation

9. Proof of work experience (employment contract)

10. Proof of adequate financial means (blocked account confirmation)

11. University admission letter (Fresh admission I just received it this week)

Those that have gone through this process before, please let me know if I should add anything else, like copies of documents, proof of health insurance, or any other supporting documents that might be required. I just want to be certain I am not leaving out anything crucial.

Thanks in advance for your guidance!
Take your incoming health insurance and enrolment certificate with you.

Good evening all
Please am just be curious, if after your interview they gave you a deadline to submit a document, and you got such document submitted by hand even before d deadline with the front desk security team at the embassy logged in their book, do I still need to send mail to affirm that that particular document have reached where it supposed to land ?

Please if you have done this before let me know your stance

The German Embassy in Lagos is at 15, Walter Carrington Crescent, Victoria Island.
From Oshodi, here are the possible routes:

---

From Oshodi, board a bus going to CMS or Obalende.

CMS is usually easier if you’re heading to Victoria Island.

From CMS, take a bus/keke heading to Ozumba Mbadiwe or Ajose Adeogun.

Drop at Ozumba Mbadiwe / 1004 junction and walk/short keke to Walter Carrington Crescent.

- Landmark

Walter Carrington Crescent is close to 1004 Estate and the U.S. Consulate area.

---

🚖 By Ride-hailing (Bolt/Uber/Private Taxi)

From Oshodi, you can book directly to German Embassy, Walter Carrington Crescent, VI.

Depending on traffic, expect about ₦3,500 – ₦6,000 during peak hours.

Travel time: 45 mins –

---

If your appointment is in the morning, leave Oshodi before 6:30 am to beat the mainland-to-island rush.

Coming back in the afternoon/evening will also be heavy traffic, so plan ahead.
