⚡China parades DF-26D “Guam Killer” road-mobile, 4,000 km-range IRBM that can carry nukes or conventional warheads, hit carriers at sea with terminal guidance. It’s basically a longer-range, more flexible DF-21D on steroids, core to China’s A2/AD strategy.

bryght4u:Say what you will about the Hegemony, but they are relentless. They'll take a loss in stride, go back to the drawing board, and return with a vengeance. I understand why the Axis is playing defense. But at some point, the bloc would have to become aggressive and shift to the offense. I hope the Axis uses this gift from Washington judiciously. If Maduro can hold out, the Axis should overtly step up their support. Deploy warships, expand munition plants, flood the terrain with ADs and radars. Everything the West has done in Ukraine should be done in Venezuela and then some. -Lord |

WriteerNg:Interesting, there is always an excuse for invading and destabilizing other countries .... Always. There is this, there is that Only you in Ukraine, Isreal, Taiwan, Syria, Lebanon and now Venezuela. How is their election your problem? Are you the only country in the world? Why always US? At the end of the day, others are the problem and not them/allies. So it is okay to be funding and arming Ukraine to fight Russia in Russia's sphere, arming Taiwan in China's sphere but wrong to do that in your sphere? Make it make sense to me |

⚡Russia's Lavrov says no deal can be signed by Zelensky since he's illegitimate: "We would need a very clear understanding by everybody that the person who is signing is legitimate. And according to the Ukrainian constitution, Mr. Zelensky is not, at the moment."

WriteerNg:Let the games begin. Only then would we know what the Axis has armed Maduro with. And I quite understandably get your point and agree with you. The US is sequestered between two great oceans to the east and west of it and a huge landmass to the north and south of it. It's for that singular reason they've trotted down the world hawking "democracy" and "human rights" like gala to those who have conceded them and then overthrowing and killing anyone who dares to oppose them and their hegemonic agenda to subdue and subjugate peoples and resources for the profit of corporate America. However, Venezuela is quite close to mainland USA. And Gerans and the likes could really hit bases very close to home, and also their assets at sea. Like I posited earlier, the war hawks at the Pentagon and the Deep State are angling for this war perhaps having gamed different scenarios and coming up with a decisive victory everytime for the US. Any damage to the US and her assets by such weapons would just be a little inconvenience they could live with especially when they'll be laying their hands their most coveted assets, the world's largest crude oil deposits in addition to the huge oil & gas reserves in neighbouring Guyana they already control via ExxonMobil. For me, though, part of objectives of this grand posturing is to: 1) get rid of Maduro and install a complaint puppet. 2) Secure their asset in Guyana, so by this sheer show of force, Maduro and his govt would be forced to allow ExxonMobil unrestricted access to exploring their assets in Guyana, that is of Maduro somehow survives this! It'll be a typical "shock & awe" style invasion. If Maduro survives the initial onslaughts then they can drag it out via a typical guerilla warfare. Although the US military doctrine is built for these types of combat, yet, Afghanistan stands as a stack reminder that home and terrain advantage always stand for something, especially when the masses and military rally around their political leaders. Maduro must've learnt a thing or two from Iran. I wish I could sit here and declare, "Caracas is ready", like LordAdam16 did when Israel rattled Tehran and then ended up waving the white flag after just 12days! The coming weeks would be quite interesting as I expect Israel to help keep Iran engaged while the US tries to do what she does best in Venezuela: battle smaller and quite incapable countries to try and keep their air of invincibility intact! |

LordAdam16:Real question is: would they? They've been awfully silent since Trump announced the deployment of an American force off the coast of Venezuela. Perhaps it's the silence before the storm and then we'd begin to understand that they had all this well planned out in advance. Or Perhaps its resignation to fate. Either ways Maduro has to buckle up. Help will come but he'll have to have his skin in the game first, like Iran did, and hold out for that help. However, the US is quite close to home in this battle and can quite easily ramp up deployment of assets to counter whatever the Axis throws at them. I just pray it'll involve a ground invasion. If it does then I think Maduro stands a chance but the US will only send boots on ground after she must've bombed Venezuela back to stone age. The "shock and awe" doctrine is not just to instil maximum damage but also to strike fear into the hearts of minds of men - military, paramilitary, militia, civilians - in case of a ground invasion. |

FoolishBoy419:I don't understand the bolded First, Most you guys (sympathizer) don't know the difference between hunger and starvation. Check the meaning of both words What he (shoodboi) said was children are likely to starve more than adults....... which is somehow true because the say was "children are likely to be more hungrier than adults" but due to propaganda you guys replace hunger with starvation.....two different thing. Also I said hunger may lead to starvation that is why I said what he said is somehow true Hunger is selective, starvation is not selective. Check wars where starvation was used as weapon e.g Nigeria civil war......you will know the difference What is happening in Gaza is not starvation but pure evil from hamas and the mothers of children on display........simple. starvation is not selective. The real starved people are the hostages |

bryght4u:The US does not need to deploy troops. Venezuela has a robust opposition and is on the border with Colombia. Years of sanctions and economic malaise as well as a forever insurgency in Colombia means Washington has lots of cannon fodders to throw at Maduro. If he lives long enough that is. An Iran 2.0 that takes out the political and military hierarchy is very likely enough to send the regime into a tailspin. Venezuela is not a civilization state and whatever Israel threw at Iran, the US can throw 10x more. Unlike Iran or Russia, the US had been very overt about conducting regime change in Venezuela. They've tried multiple times. So Venezuela had to have prepared multiple contingencies. The odds are stacked against Maduro, but if he pulls a rabbit out of the hat, the rapid expansion of Iran's capabilities will be a template for Venezuela. -Lord |

LordAdam16:Venezuela has been hostile towards USA for decades. Why do you think they’re doing this now? I mean what’s the rush, it’s just barely over six months of Trump presidency. I know Trump talked about Venezuela oil during campaign but is this just about oil. Could it be about china because china gets a lot of food resources from South America and they’re starting with Venezuela. Maybe they think Russia could put missiles in Venezuela since they left the INF treaty. Am just thinking out here because it seems really unnecessary to go this far for just oil and gas. |

sainttwist1:Don’t put words in my mouth. I never said children likely starve quicker than adults. I said “Children starve quicker than adults”. That is a factual statement backed by science and as I said back then, common sense. It is not one based on likelihood or whatever agenda you are trying to promote. Hunger and starvation are two very clear and distinctive things and are not something we should start an argument about. Even Israel’s most voracious backers, from the UN and down to Trump himself have agreed there is starvation in Gaza. Just yesterday, the UN upgraded it from mass starvation to outright famine. “Human-caused famine” as they called it since they know calling it an “Israeli-caused famine” will piss off their Zionist friends and funders. But somehow, it is you who wants to continue to argue that there isn’t mass starvation in Gaza. Well, you can continue to argue about that. But it is not going to be with me. |

The Houthi situation is proof that the famed Mossad intelligence is overrated. They heavily rely on internal disgruntled/opportunistic elements open to sabotage. As in Lebanon and Iran. They've had 2 years to fill up a target bank in Yemen, and they're still striking abandoned palaces and power stations. -Lord |

sainttwist1:"...which is somehow true because..." You are still struggling to admit that he was right and you were wrong. I don't think there is anyone that doesn't understand the difference between the two but you can't resist your habit of playing dumb in order to prolong arguments. You can direct your expert, first-hand knowledge of what's really happening in Gaza to the doctors, the UN, the aid agencies, and the Palestinians themselves thar are all supposedly lying. We don't need it here ![]() |

shoodboi2:The IDF has always been suspect. Shin Bet as well, because Palestinian groups have always been able to strike the heart of Israel at will. Mossad has a lot of advantages. The vast majority of the planet use Mossad infiltrated devices, networks, and technologies. They have unlimited capital, political will, and until very recently they operated in a unipolar world where their side called the shots. To have all that assist and repeatedly come up short is inexcusable. -Lord |

LordAdam16:True talk. https://tass.ru/armiya-i-opk/24785083 MOSCOW, August 15. /TASS/. Western-made anti-aircraft missile systems during the NWO showed an inability to resist the strikes of the aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces and Russian air defense. This was reported to TASS by a source in the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation. "Attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to limit the strikes of the aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces with the help of Western-made anti-aircraft missile systems are suppressed by Russian air defense systems. During the NMD, Russian air defense combat crews successfully intercept Western-made anti-aircraft guided missiles attacking the operational-tactical aviation of the RF Armed Forces while performing combat missions to destroy the enemy on the ground and in the air," the agency's interlocutor said. He clarified that since the end of 2023, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been actively using S-200, SAMP/T and Patriot strike missiles against Russian Su-34 and Su-35 aircraft. The interlocutor added that "over the past year and a half, Russian air defense crews have intercepted almost two dozen Western-made anti-aircraft guided missiles that attacked aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces at supersonic speeds - from 870 to 1178 meters per second (up to 3.5 M)." "Moreover, about half of them are MIM-104D missiles of the American Patriot air defense system," he said. According to the source, "the greatest effectiveness of such interceptions is demonstrated by domestic S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems." This is interesting. Russian AD suppressing Ukraine air defence missiles. |
