A Nigerian lady working as a food delivery rider abroad has revealed how she intends to “trash” a food order worth €100 — right inside her belly.

In a video she shared online, the lady displayed the food packages she was sent to deliver and explained that if the customer fails to show up, the company’s policy gives two options: either keep waiting or end the order and discard the food. She noted that canceling under such circumstances does not affect her cancellation rate or overall earnings.

According to her, she had already called the supposed customer, but the receiver insisted she was the only one at home and never placed any order. The delivery rider further disclosed that she rang the doorbell several times and also sent messages to the customer, but received no response.

With excitement, she showed off the three food packages placed inside her vehicle and happily announced her plan to “trash” them in her stomach. In her words, “Dinner don sure!” she exclaimed joyfully in pidgin English.

However, the video has sparked strong reactions from Nigerians online, with many questioning why she felt the need to post such content publicly.

Calm down, everyone does it. The company knows you will eat it, but they will tell you to trash it becuase they do not want to bear any responsibility if anything happens to you due to dietary concerns.

It is also why supermarket trash unsold fresh foods for the day because they have been sued many times by those they decided to give the food for free.

She isn't that smart but then again, she's from a place where many are lousy and don't know the difference between what's worth keeping things private or not.

Whatever happens to her at the end is none of my business.

But there are many similar videos on YouTube now
And in many cases, they were deliberate so the delivery guys could take it
Some even put in huge tips which the delivery guys initially thought was mistake only for the person to say it was deliberate and is for them.

This is the foolishness of the highest order. Have encountered this before and I had to keep quiet. We Nigerians in diaspora let's be careful please

She did nothing wrong. it clearly states the rules for a delivery and what to do during an unnecessary delay in pickup.
