The bots are definitely not perfect, but I'm curious, was the "how to watch adult content" marked as adult content?
They don't mention which video violates their policy when they terminate your channel. But that was the only video I could suspect. The video in question was all about filtering out adult content within YouTube navigation, no explicit word, no adult words or image. Those guys are funny sha and due to their terms and conditions, no legal action can be taken against them hence the reason they can do anyhow.

You stated that there was no specific explanation as to why your account was banned but I saw reasons to why it was banned.

The only problem is not getting any responses from your appeal.

I tried opening a KDP account but got stuck somewhere and decided to let go.

Keep doing what you do and improve in it.

26 books a year is too high. Probably low quality output related . Thats one book every two weeks. Sounds like every chapter being presented as a book.
Book that takes people years to write, he's writing a book in 2 weeks. He's probably copying others books and rephrase it with tools. Amazon won't ban you if they don't observe repeated patterns which they suspected is foul play.

YouTube terminated my How-to in Tech channel of about 50k subs and millions of views in January without any warning or strike and the reason was violation of nudity and sexual policy which I never went close to in a tech channel.

The annoying part is that they will never tell you which video violated the policy and the only video I could suspect was titled 'how to watch adult content in YouTube' and guess what? There are thousands of monetized channels with that same topic and are still functional.

YouTube bot behaves like Nairaland's bots
Seems u feel because others got away with it atleast for now u feel u also should get away with breaking the rules?? undecided

One thing I’ve learnt about selling online is to have your own platform. You can use others to advertise but never rely solely on a platform you have no control over.

They’ll screw you up.

You can still earn from your ebooks if you are sure you own them completely and not copied from copyrighted materials.

If you want to still earn from those books you wrote, and you are sure they are 80% your original work, I can guide you on how and where to publish them again and even make more sales than you made on Amazon.

But before you proceed, reflect back and check if you did anything wrong or used any shady method during your writing process.

I speak because I started publishing on Amazon kdp as far back as in 2012/2013 and I have been earning constant passive income from there, and three of my books made bestseller at some period and my account have never been banned or had issue but instead kdp have invited me several times to turn my Kindle books to paperback.

So there is something you did, think deeply
He didn't do anything. I was in that situation early this year. 14th Feb to be precise. It was as though a special Valentine package delivered hot and fresh.

I cried cuz at that time, I just lost my mother. It was like the whole world was against my existence.

Omoh. Those review team no send person papa ooh.

I want to ask the other platform to republish this books. Right now, I need a new side hutsle to build

I still don't believe you guys that you did nothing wrong.

I published my first kdp book in 2012 and my account has been active since 2012 till date, no issue.

You may have copied some copyrighted materials or applied some black methods of writing to boost your visibility or something.

If you don't correct the mistakes you made, the next platform I would give to you will still ban you, but if you insist, check out lulu . com to start with.

From there you can sell your books automatically on over 10 platforms including on kdp. But be sure you have corrected whatever mistake you made that got your kdp account banned. All the best

Anything that has to do with algorithm which can not be easily explained can easily break someone's heart.

A lot of shit happens on these platforms without any reasonable explanation.

Except if they started that recently, I mean this year. Nigerians çan create an account and sell on Draft2Digital. LuLu is a good platform too. But the thing is, KDP is still the biggest of them all, and it is where regular people go to look for books

Bro, take correction, and stop capping dust. You COULD NOT HAVE written 60 books in 3 years the right way. And you've been writing for just 8 years!

Think of what you did wrong, I believe you most certainly know what, and stop them. If writing is your passion then hone your skills. You can't microwave a good book. Stop trying to convince us that you actually sat and wrote those plethora of fiction in a few years. No sane person will believe you.

Yes I have been given options on kdp to turn some of my kdp books to paperback, is there anything funny there?

Do you want me to show you a proof with a screen shot of my kdp account?

For your information, I started writing from when I was in Primary school and started monetizing my writing around 2009 via blogging on some foreign platforms where we earned via affiliate links inserted on our articles.

You won't understand lol
Don't prove anything to me o. I'm just putting it to you that if you've been writing since 2012 as you claim, you won't say that. If I may ask, how much do you price your eBook?

Why don't you get a lawyer to write them, maybe they will reveal the reason to the lawyer. .....I'm suggesting this cos someone said they don't terminate Americans and Europeans account anyhow cos those ones can sue, cant you sue too?
Especially since you're so sure you didn't break any rules

Kalatium:
In August 2025, I faced one of the toughest blows in my professional and creative life.

After writing and publishing 80 books in 3 years on Amazon KDP, I woke up one day to find my account permanently banned. No prior warning. No specific explanation. No chance to genuinely fix anything. Just a blunt message: “Your account has been terminated.”

I appealed. I waited. I hoped. But the response was the same — rejection without clarity.

It felt like watching years of hard work, sleepless nights, and passion suddenly erased.
I didn’t just lose books. I lost:

A source of income I had carefully built.

An outlet where my voice reached readers around the world.

A dream I had invested deeply in.

But here’s the part I want to share openly: I refuse to see this as the end.

Because those 80 books are still proof of my discipline, creativity, and consistency.
Because the skills I developed in writing, publishing, and marketing cannot be banned.
Because setbacks are not the end — they are redirections.

Yes, I am hurt. Yes, I am disappointed. But I am also grateful:
🙏 Grateful for the lessons learned.
🙏 Grateful for the global readers who discovered my work.
🙏 Grateful for the chance to rise again, this time smarter and stronger.

This experience has taught me two things:
1️⃣ Never build all your dreams on a single platform. Own your audience. Diversify.
2️⃣ Resilience matters. Systems may fail you, but your spirit must not.

Amazon may have shut a door on me, but it also opened my eyes to explore Kobo, IngramSpark, Smashwords, and even building my own publishing path.

I’m not quitting. I’m simply pivoting.

So if you’re reading this, let my story remind you: when life pulls a rug under your feet, stand taller on the bare floor.

The pen is still in my hand, and the story continues. ✍️
You have written 80 books? That already sounds like you were spamming Amazon.

Na. I i usually use grammarly to help me proofread. Infact i recently started using chatgpt.

Though i noticed that my books were read more frequently through Kindle unlimited and boom my book was banned. They only said suspicious activities. Infact i haven't done anything on Amazon kdp for past 3 months.
