I remember that bad teeth issue from Clarence Seedorf experience with injuries. Don't remember the main gist of it but something around how dental problems affected his ability to heal properly from his injuries. Infact dental checks have become part and parcel of player's medicals. Roland17: |

Boniface hasn't landed his major life changing contract yet He should be very careful and lock in It only takes one large 5 year contract from Saudi and now is the time to lock it in, then he can play after the ink is dry At the level he's operating at (£800k per year after tax), he can still return to the trenches after football |

Witchcraft is: supporting Russia that attacked Ukraine to protect their territory and still hate on Isreal trying to protect their territory by attacking their deemed Foes.💯 |

Ibime:He should have started locking in when his Al nasr move fell through instead of throwing tantrums like a little kid he's now doing. No matter what you do people must talk especially in a country as populous, hypocritic, constantly angry and agenda driven as ours. The guy no just wise. |

Bimmarlykay:The Russia-Ukraine situation is completely different from what’s happening with Israel. Ukraine never attacked Russia. And really, what’s the point of being a sovereign nation if you can’t decide which organizations you want to join? If Russia wasn’t constantly bullying its neighbors, those countries wouldn’t be so eager to align with its enemies. In fact, Russia’s actions only prove them right for doing so. Two completely different situations. |

Ellexy:Was she condescending? Yes and I think many got carried away by her attitude, which is a usually a huge turnoff for me. Was she thoroughly cooked? I don’t think so. Also, I thought most misconstrued and couldn’t differentiate between Radical and Liberal. They tried to force Liberal and Radical views, while similar are 2 different ideologies. Many of the black conservatives lacked good knowledge of the issues they had against her. I thought she did well against the 1st and 2nd guy. The 3rd guy was the one who started doing well against her. The 4th lady wanted to get clarifications and appreciated her. The 4th guy was a balanced fight and the 5th woman is one that cleared her. The 6th guy was about the only who understood the difference between Radical and Liberal views but she did well against him as well. The 7th guy (Josh I believe) approached with debating but she clarified many of his original positions and he changed into learning from her about New Orleans. Next guy was a balanced debate. Again, this doesn’t mean, I support all her positions, particularly black on black crime, absence of a father or victim mentality. However, you can’t deny the fact that for example, school district funding is heavily influenced by the economic influence of the people who live in the area. Or home assessments “can” be influenced by color of skin. Those are systemic that individuals cannot control. On the basis of a debate, I thought she did well against most of them and held her own pretty well. Another example is the voucher system which to me has merits and demerits. The more I have watched, she even won most of the debates. Infact watch from 57 minute when the lady came back. I thought the lady had the best argument, she even referenced Nigerians and I thought she did very well and got Amanda to agree in some positions. The American dream doesn’t have to be white dream. She was by far the best debater for me. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ellexy: 2:25am On Aug 25, 2025 |
Roland17:She might be a good debater, but in that podcast she failed to counter several of the strong points raised against her arguments. Instead, she leaned heavily on the respect card as though respect alone could dismantle the points on the table. The debate I watched she didn't win, the only way she could have won was if being loud and overbearing is considered victory. In her follow-up video, she admitted she deliberately avoided debating because, according to her, those on the other side were already indoctrinated. She claimed she was speaking directly to the wider audience instead. Clever spin I may say but also a bit rich, given the circumstances. Meanwhile, the other debaters revealed in their follow-ups that she was extremely rude throughout the recording and kept threatening to walk out. I saw her today on MSNBC giving some explanations about the debate, while the 18-year-old conservative has been welcomed on platforms like Charlie Kirk’s and Ben Shapiro’s. Out of her four assertions: 1. Reparations are both just and necessary. 2. Black-on-Black crime stems from underinvestment and over-policing, not cultural pathology. 3. Systemic racism is a lived reality, grounded in historical facts and data. 4. Black conservatism often fails the working class. I only agree with number 3. Systemic racism is real and rooted in history, but America has fought tooth and nail to dismantle much of it. In fact, one could argue the pendulum is swinging in the opposite direction now, with whites increasingly claiming discrimination themselves. All in all, I’m genuinely proud of the young Black conservatives who refuse to box themselves into the role of perpetual victims. That's the way to go instead of always looking for who to blame. Amanda Seals on the other hand might brand herself as a radical, but honestly, she’s just another textbook radical leftist. And to me, that’s no different from being a liberal. They all spew the same talking points. |

chrisooblog:Reading this now, I think I have an idea as to why dental check/test was added to our PME. Where I work we do an annual medical checkup/test where series of tests, medical checks and scans are carried out on all staff. Earlier this month when we had this year's, I noticed dental check was added to the dozens of tests/checks carried out. I saw a dentist at the hospital in the process and I was wondering what's the essence of including a dental check in a wellness checkup. Now I know better. |

Amigoss:Lambo, Bentayga, Rolls Royce and Private Jet lifestyle will return Boniface to the trenches on his current career earnings but is enough for the average modest man to retire comfortably At the expiry of his Leverkusen contract, Boniface would have earned circa £4m after tax from football. £3m is the number I set as a comfortable retirement number for an average modest man if the £3m yields 5% per annum from investments (property, fixed income etc) But a typical footballer will blow most of that £4m Boniface earnings just due to peer pressure (Cars, Private Jet trips etc) and will live in a £2m house at least so the money isn't earning returns. So Boniface needs the big contract next. He can't be stuck on this Leverkusen contract level. |

| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 11:00am On Aug 25, 2025 |
GloriousGbola:I doubt Boniface and his friend Osimehn can emulate the frugality credited to Okocha in his playing days and even now that he's retired. Boniface and his friend seem to be about the social media life , gifting their "fans" at random, paying influencers and sponsoring trips of their influencer friends to stay relevant in the social media space, etc. Whether the aggregate of these social spendings will have a significant impact on their purse in the long run; only time will tell. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:09am On Aug 25, 2025 |
GloriousGbola:You can be prudent, and not even be a stingy person. Someone hits 20 million naira, and buys a Lexus worth 15 million Another person buys a Nigerian used car of 4.5 million, and has about 9 million to invest in something else. Most times, it boils down to the choice of the individual |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 11:11am On Aug 25, 2025 |
OkpaNsukkaisBae:These "Football expenses", are just personal choices they made, but made it look like it was inevitable. The same way our players will make it look like they sacrificed for Nigeria, when they actually chopped $20k for pulling out of a tournament. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by OkpaNsukkaisBae(m): 11:29am On Aug 25, 2025 |
izzou:Exactly, na their personal decision be that. We have seen footballers who double as agent, lawyer, engineer, doctor etc. There's nothing stopping them from getting a good education, skills etc.

izzou:Lol. So, make men drive cooper because them no wan broke. Do you know there are certain places you can't enter with certain cars? The more you make, the more your lifestyle changes. It'll take extreme savings, and average mentality for you not change your lifestyle as your earnings increase massively. Let's say you drink wines of #50k when you earn #200k monthly, will you really still prefer drinking such wines when you start earning #5m monthly? Definitely not. I'm not saying it's not possible, but it's easy to understand why those footballers and sport stars taste luxury and can't go back. |

TemporaryHansel:Exactly, if dem decide investigate the spending habits of a lot of us average earners, you'd see it's not so different from these footballers, in that as our earnings grew, so too did our expenses. Confirm stingy guys like Okocha and Kante are the exception and not the norm, and I mean within the general population, not just footballers. |
| Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 12:12pm On Aug 25, 2025 |
TemporaryHansel:And I am saying it is a choice. Drive Urus, GLE... It's your choice, and not football expenses. You are the one that decided to live that way .. Nothing concern football with that one. |

If Boniface's post-tax earnings is still hovering around 17K per week, e mean say the guy neva really touch money for the football thing at all. The guy is a solid player and while I don't know to what extent his shenanigans online has affected his prospects, it's probabaly time he buckled up and faced his career squarely, if not for anything, for perceptions. A failed medical for a pro already at his level is a bad look. |
