You still need to learn a lot of things in politics. PDP is the only strong party with the needed national structure that can realistically compete for president. Atiku is also the strongest candidate that can face Mr. President in 2027. So, the first thing is to separate both PDP and Atiku. With today’s zoning decision by PDP NEC, the possibility of Atiku returning to hijack PDP’s ticket is dead.

Secondly, there is also a need to ensure Atiku does not get ADC ticket if possible. PDP has no serious candidate so today’s decision is also to put pressure on ADC to read the mood of the country and zone its ticket to the south. Majority of the PDP governors are already working for Mr. President.

So, serious northerners in ADC are looking at the situation and thinking about 2031. PDP has positioned itself for 2031 already. If ADC ticket goes north and APC wins as expected, the party can’t come in 2031 and zone the ticket to the north again. It’s a dilemma they now have to deal with.

Great. Wike has been the one financing PDP after the likes of Ibori and other big spenders abandoned the party after GEJ became the C in C. Only big spenders from SS has the war chest to finance a mega party like PDP even Atiku sef can't put body.

Tinubu has been the big spender of APC/Buhari's election hence is outburst when he found out that they wants to sideline him.

To finance a party to win a presidential election in Nigeria is not moi-moi. I'm always laughing whenever Obidients claim that they won the 2023 election. How naaaa? How many people Sabi Labour party or Obi in those remote villages in the North? Obi stands little or no chance of clinching any presidential ticket, the way things are going.

He doesn’t have a place in PDP. Likewise, in LP, he has bided them goodbye.

His only option is ADC, which Capon de Tuti of ADC, Atiku, has positioned himself for. Obi may end up being a VP candidate in ADC.

We shouldn’t be surprised to see a contestant of an Igbo extraction, clinching PDP’s ticket but being sponsored by APC - just to split South East’s votes.

It is too late, SW is now an APC region, Goodluck Jona has denied the rumour that he want to contest, Makinde who worked for Tinubu in the last election cannot contest against him, SE and SS are only interested in Peter Obi. Then, what is PDP now going to do with the ticket?
