Apparently, if you have something to hide, you should be scared.... but if you don't have anything to hide, you can chase this. This will go along way to reduce how people create multiple accounts to troll and make false claim. But the bad effect will be to sell our data off to foreigners through their embassies. 13 Likes |

Honestly I would have supported this because it will help to fish out These unknown gunmen and Fulani that beheads people and post on social media, but this can never work. If all the informations like bvn, nin etc that exist with the bank and phone networks, bandits, unknown gunmen and boko haram are not yet apprehended. Nothing will work. While I align with your suggestion, I believe it is not intended to silence the voices of alleged political opponents or enemies. This is particularly relevant considering how unpredictable politicians can be, depending on whether or not a particular administration favours or disfavours them, especially in Nigeria. How many terrorists, bandits, and other criminal elements, who have made parts of Nigeria nearly ungovernable, have been apprehended using the National Identification Number (NIN)? Former Minister Prof. Isa Pantami promised that NIN enrollment would significantly reduce crime. Has this promise been fulfilled? We continue to see terrorists and bandits openly displaying large sums of ransom money and sophisticated weapons, yet no decisive action seems to be taken. How and where do they make calls to demand ransom from the families of their victims? It is important not to support policies simply because they benefit you in the short term, as they may come back to harm you when the political landscape shifts and a different administration comes into power. 2 Likes |

Lere Olayinka should be fired. He is estranging his principal from the very democratic voter base that sustains any government. He talks like a hired enforcer for El Chapo, not like a democrat who understands that power comes only through the people’s grace. I am also proposing that NIN should be attached to all voters card in Nigeria so that we can always determine and punish people who voted or whose NIN were used to vote multiple times during our election.
