In December 2019, Odunukwe was lured into what he thought was a business transaction. A group of criminals posed as buyers interested in one of his multi-million naira properties. After several discussions, they convinced him to meet in person to finalize the deal.

On the agreed date, Chief Odunukwe left his office with the original property documents in hand. Sadly, that was the last time his staff saw him alive.

The so-called buyers kidnapped him, forced him to sign over his property documents, and then carried out a gruesome act. They killed him, dismembered his body, and stuffed the remains inside a box. To conceal their crime, they dumped the box in a forest in Ajah, Lagos.

For weeks, his family and friends searched desperately. Hope began to fade—until police investigations led to the arrest of suspects who eventually confessed to the chilling crime. They took authorities to the forest where the decomposed remains of the billionaire were discovered.

Me that is ordinary civil servant with few apartments available for rentals have agent that handle that for me based on my requirements of the kind of tenants I need. The agent profile the prospective tenant and seal the deal that's all

Everyone are entitled to air their opinion without sentiment. In as much as the gruesome murder of the man is condemnable, there are certain things expert handle and handle it professionally, it's very unfortunate. The man would have still been alive today if he had allowed the right person handle the job.
Think of it, how can such a billionaire even have time to put up advert on his contact without minding the consequences of exposing himself to criminals, it doesn't make sense. Nothing can ever make me do such. That is why we have real estate agents. They know how to mitigate the risk of handling multi-million naira deals

The guy is saying the truth. Stop telling us what you watched in a movie.

I strongly doubt if the man is a billionaire . Even a millionaire will allow agent to handle such things.

Most millionaires won't even allow you access to them if you occupy their property for a decade. You only get to meet their staff and agents talk more of a billionaire.

Yorubas and Hausa have mastered the act of using people to get results once they attain certain level of wealth.

But the case is different with Igbos. I am glad the evil doers were caught.
