But the scripture said we should rejoice in the Lord. How do you rejoice without dancing? Dancing is one sure way of expressing your joy.

U heard wrong. That never happened

He was wearing a linen ephod, and wasnt naked.

The wife's barreness was nowhere mentioned as a result of her mockery on Dave

The recorded account of Jesus was a summary. There are many things he definitely did that were not recorded.

For instance, was there record that he took his bath? Certainty not but we know he did it because its normal to take bath.

Dancing is an integral part of human life. We all dance either for fun, or to celebrate. We also do it to honour deities whether God or the devil.

I don't see anything wrong dancing in church as long as it is done to God’s glory and it's not done in the flesh.

Robert Liardon saw was caught up to heaven at the age of 8. He said that the praise in heaven is 100 times better than the best praise on earth. The angels danced, jumped up and down with their robes flying. He is the author of God’s General.

The house of God is not a mortuary. It's a place of celebration and dancing should be going on always in God's presence.

Jesus isn't called the son of David for nothing.

God also called David a man after His heart, and the same David despite being a king humble himself and danced in the presence of God in public and before his servants as though he was of no reputation, that even his wife felt ashamed of him.

Of course it's not about dancing or not dancing, but if dancing is a true expression of a person's heartened love, thanksgiving, praise or worship towards God, then I wouldn't advice anyone to interrupt the person otherwise they may have to answer to God.
