You are being pedantic. Whether they zoned or threw it open, the point is Their decision was not made until April 2022 by which time Umahi was almost 2 years a member of APC. Do you see what I mean when I say I don’t have any regard for you, that you mould the facts to fit your narrative and that producing evidence for you is a waste of time?

I just proved to you that the statement you made about Umahi was false, instead you are arguing over whether they zoned or didn’t! Deciding to throw it open is also zoning. The point is their decision on zoning was made almost 2 years after Umahi left the party and yet you say Umahi left because they didn’t zone to the SE!

The point is you lied! You said Umahi left PDP because PDP refused to some it’s ticket to the SE. to start with PDP does not microzone anyway so PDP will never have zoned it’s ticket to the SE, they zone to north or south.

In any event like I said you argue like a motor park tout. You already know what you belief and any evidence to the contrary is a waste of time….like you have just shown.

And then you ask me to waste my time combing through numerous 30minute interviews? Like I said believe what you want because evidence won’t change your mind. It’s not the first time. You have demonstrated this from my 1st interaction with you over EPC+F many months ago.

Umahi left PDP because he realized there was no credible SE representation in APC and he likely made the shrewd political calculations that APC would be the party to dominate in the near future and if he defected, he would get early mover advantage. Simple as! He was right as he is the leading SE figure in the APC and the administration, unfortunately for him, his people are not politically astute and all his efforts will likely be in vain. Nothing to do with PDP.

Argue with your keyboard.
The bolded is your imagination. I already shared a screenshot of what he said made him leave PDP

This is a screenshot from Punch a reputable news outlet who quoted him verbatim yet you're making up silly stories about representation of SE in APC as if Ogbonnaya Onu and Okorocha were not among the founding fathers of APC. How can someone be so addicted to making things up like this? Oya provide any evidence from any source whatsoever that your bolded claim is from Umahi like I just did with the Punch screenshot

And you just repeated another lie that PDP does not microzone. How did Obasanjo emerge? Didn't the same PDP NEC a few days ago after zoning to the south ask all the regions to microzone as well?

It's obvious you don't read. You just make things up to suit your bias.

If you think Okorocha, Onu or hope had or have any chance of being a presidential candidate for APC you need more than your brain examined. Since when did founding member make you a default presidential favorite or mean you will rise to the top or that you are automatically a key decision maker? Was ElRufai not a foundation member, was he not denied ministerial post? Such low level thinking you exhibit all the time in your posts.

In any event I am not going to aid you diverting the topic. You conjured up a tale that Umahi left PDP because It did not zone the ticket to the SE. I proved this is one of your numerous made up stories.

I have blocked you at least 3 times in the past and you’ve just earned your 4th. Unfortunately Nairaland blocks are temporary.

Obi left because he was told by Atiku he could not guarantee him the VP slot. Do what you want with that while you serve your block!

PDP does not microzone! Ekweremadu contested against Obasanjo The way I was raised and educated, I will take 2 minutes to google the PDP constitution and thankfully it is available online and do a word search for “zoning” before coming online to make a …… of myself.

1998 PDP primaries:

OLUSEGUN OBASANJO 1,658 67.98%
ALEX EKWUEME 521 21.36%
DON ETIEBET 106 4.35%
GRAHAM DOUGLAS 71 2.91%
JIM NWOBODO 59 2.42%
PHILIP ASIODU 12 0.49%
FRANCIS ELLAH 12 0.49%

Nigeria is not yet prepared for quality leadership.

They need to play their tribal-religious politics for another 100 years so that more Nigerians can kpai of hunger to enable the fortunate ones that survive it to have some sense and boldness to demand and fight for good leadership devoid of tribal-religious rhetorics they are currently doing now.

Youths from my region reading this should just focus on improving their lives through foreign migration (Japa), trade, entrepreneurship, skill acquisition and personal development which never fails no matter the government in power.

We have fought a good fight but the people we are occupying same nation with are not ready, they are still stuck in the 1960s events, so let them continue until hunger and hardship reduce their number to a reasonable population grin
grin yes we are not ready to vote in a failure who failed woefully in tiny Anambala without any achievement but want to be forced down our throats because the eboes are desperate in need of a president grin

This is why I asked if you are a child, because that is the only reason you don't know this.

The court convicted Professor Ogban for manipulating election results, publishing and announcing false results in a National Assembly election held in February 2019 in Akwa Ibom North-West Senatorial District.

Fact 1. The election in question was the 2019 election

Fact 2. Akpabio wasn't in the senate for that period, he actually lost the election.

Fact 3. The court case just got concluded, and has nothing to do with the 2023 election.

How does an election of 2019 affect someone that contested for 2023, young man, stop watching Youtube and read actual news.

I didn't have the complete details and doesn't make me a child but Akpabio played dirty politics with INEC and the judiciary, because under the same law once you contest for a particular candidate for a position and lose you don't go to contest for another, you buy only one form for candidacy, but Akpabio did and got away with it and court upheld it...

Fair enough! But I’m a firm believer in never giving up; you can call it dangerous optimism.

If we let the ruiners (like Dele Faratomi calls them), they will never give way. We have to keep pushing until we push them away.

I have been telling Penguin2 since April that Obi should not contest. Sponsor people instead, House of Reps, Senate, even Governorship. Continue your philanthropy and your voice will continue to resonate, I know his inner circle will tell him not to listen!

It's not a matter of coming out to endorse anybody... Condition 1 very possible.
Conditions 2 & 3 never happening. Onwuabasi should just rest, he has made his mark and written his name in the sands of time.
But you and I know that until Peter Obi is on the top and implements the necessary electoral reforms, the candidates he supports may not win anything again.

I don’t buy that he should stop contesting.

In fact, if he fails in 2027, let him drag it with the north in 2031.

Like I told you before, we will never get anywhere if we are waiting for when they will tell us “come and take”.

We have to keep forcing our way until they let us in.

OKAY if God say Obi go be Nigeria president in 2027 you go drink poison bah?
If God says he's going to become president, no mortal can stop him. My opinion was only predicated on my human understanding of Nigerian politics.

The same court that made a man senate president who did not contest primary, the joke is on you and the current Nigerian judiciary...
What has the office of the Senate President got to do with the Nigerian Court?

Do they do primary elections to become SP?
