I travelled from Suleja to Kontagora in Niger State and it's like travelling from Abuja to Lagos or Abuja to my Bayelsa.. Niger State alone is like 3 Countries put together. It has LGAs bigger than half of South East. Only Mashegu LGA is larger than Anambra, Lagos and Imo States put together talk more of Borgu LGA. @General Ditari.

Seefinish:Well that's because the whole Anambra State is just a Councillorship Ward in Niger State. Very small so it is easy to develop. Nevertheless the road network in Niger is topnotch. |

Niger is the largest state in Nigeria in terms of landmass. Of what importance is it though when bandits are occupying almost a quarter of the territory therein and poverty wan unalive a vast number of the populace ![]() |

Toruibestate:Is not by landmass oooo Iran's landmass is far more than Israel but Israel is beating Iran,Syria, Yemen, Labanon + others like babies. Anambra maybe small but it population density is more than Niger is it's aligned by landmass proportion. Comparison of Landmass: Israel vs. Iran, Yemen, and Syria Israel has a total land area of approximately 22,072 km².3c452f For context, this figure includes areas like the Golan Heights and East Jerusalem, though these are not universally recognized as part of Israel. Here's how it compares to the specified countries (using total area figures for consistency in international comparisons): Iran: 1,648,195 km²1bcdba — Iran is about 75 times larger than Israel. Yemen: 527,968 km²4407fe — Yemen is about 24 times larger than Israel. Syria: 185,180 km²41e636 — Syria is about 8 times larger than Israel. These comparisons highlight Israel's relatively small size in the region, with its neighbors possessing significantly more expansive territories. Comparison of Niger State and Enugu State in Nigeria Assuming "Nigeria state" refers to Niger State (a common typo or autocorrect for "Niger State," one of Nigeria's 36 states), here's a comparison of landmass and population density between Niger State and Enugu State. Data is based on the most recent available estimates as of 2022. Landmass: Niger State: 76,363 km²dd952d (the largest state in Nigeria by area). Enugu State: 7,161 km²610838 (one of the smaller states, ranking 29th out of 36). Comparison: Niger State is about 10.7 times larger than Enugu State in land area. Population and Density (using 2022 estimates): Niger State: Population of approximately 6,783,300.1922ff Population density is about 89 people per km² (calculated as population divided by area: 6,783,300 ÷ 76,363 ≈ 88.8, rounded up). Enugu State: Population of approximately 4,690,100.1b52c0 Population density is about 655 people per km² (calculated as 4,690,100 ÷ 7,161 ≈ 654.9, rounded up). Comparison: While Niger State has a slightly higher population, its much larger land area results in a far lower density. Enugu State is more densely populated, reflecting its smaller size and more urbanized characteristics in southeastern Nigeria. Densities may vary slightly with updated projections, but northern states like Niger generally have lower densities due to more rural and arid landscapes, while southeastern states like Enugu are denser due to fertile land and higher urbanization. |

Maje, Suleja. I have never been in an environment as dirty as this place. Almajiris practice open defecation even in broad daylight at dump sites which line up every corner of the street. All sewage water from every house here are channelled to already dirty unpaved road, mixing with the mud and forming a black tar oozing the most unpleasant smell anyone can think of. You might walk pass some boys and the accompanying stink high you into cloud 9. Potholes ridden roads, chaotic keke and bike drivers...Trailer turn over, spilling their contents any time they feel tired of the road. You might just get unlucky to get mashed into a large meat ball. Things are extremely cheap here though, extremely cheap. Also, I haven't seen their kind of trust level elsewhere. |

Only in Nigeria do you spend time bragging about empty landmass. Everything works upside down here. Don't forget that the Sahara can accommodate the whole USA and China put together. Yet it's a desert. In Nigeria, it will be landmass for bragging rights and revenue allocation. |

Niger state is the real definition of big for nothing Plenty of land mass but no meaningful development on ground. Economic activities is almost non existent. Almost all their youths jobless, the ones that are employed are working for government in ministries. The remaining ones are either doing pos or haging around in tailoring shops. |
