If na Laser Jet printer and Mama Gold bag of rice be the examples of your good old days, then you are an Indomie generation.

Wait till I post pictures of items we used in the 60s.

You are not asking an intelligent question. There's never a generation that was contented with the economic situation of there time. Go back and ask individuals on the streets in the 70s and 80s and hear what they think about the government at that time.

In the 70s that we all think was better, there were people like you who were busy complaining while others make things work for them. In the next twenty years, people will look back and claim today was better than their time...
But we can always compare
There is degrees to how bad things are
Nobody should normally be worse than Buhari, but we are here now

Please explain also that there are many more ways to earn money now than 2006.

To save money then, you'd have to do manual jobs then and those 50 naira, 100 naira weren't easy money then. Our fathers too bought TV for lesser amounts in their time

It's just change.

In the 70s, a brand new car was selling for N3,500. How do you explain that?

The problem isn't about the money or hardwork, is about devaluation and lack of productivity from the leaders.

Ok, let's compare South Africa and Nigeria.

Between 2000-2006 to 2025, there has been changes, but fair changes.

In South Africa:
You'll need around R14,000 in 2025 buy stuffs worth of R4,000 in 2000-2006. That's a R10,000 increased.

In Nigeria:
You'll need around N310,000 to buy stuffs worth of N10,000 between 2000-2006. That's around N300,000 increased.

You see, there has been changes in both countries, but one is fair, minimal, and bearable, while the other is harsh, and any other harsh words you can use grin

All those things you listed above, their prices outside Nigeria have remain same for over 2 decades now.

Don't forget to tell the future kids how you and your life chose to be wailing and complaining about the issue affecting Nigeria instead of proffering solutions
Yes, Nigerian politicians are wicked just like are citizens but no country maintained same prices for commodity for 2 decades.

Not all are fools here

Oga many of those items have barely moved...
I bet none has done 200% , but in Nigeria you are looking at 1000% upwards

Smh...

A lot of you just seek relevance for the most stupid reasons.

Is it the price they buy a cup of coffee in US in 2005 that they still buy it now? You just always look for negative things to dwell on, reason most of you can never move forward. You keep dwelling on what could have been instead of what is.
Did the price change by 1000% ?
You guy keep supporting evil
