The way Lagos is going ehn, I fear for civil unrest because even the government has encouraged toxicity such that there is no tolerance level at all, not to mention the level of gangsterism and hoodlums, who are political mercenaries for politician, are allowed to thrive. There is do much enmity between ethnic groups and government need to douse this tension for the greater good.

Can you now see what obi has caused? I said it then with the way ipob, obidient and obi are behaving one day this anger and unecessary hatred will cause chaos and I said the SE should stop obi before obi stop them but they said my mouth is smelling, since 2023 election when a man in 3rd position claimed he won the election from the 3rd position which is very strange submission the ethnic hatred between igbo and the SW became fierce.

Enough is enough going this way can't solve any problem I will say it again and again stop obi now before he stop the Igbo and turn them to endanger species because the anger and the fierce tribalism is very visible even here in Nairaland unless we want to deceive ourselves.

Watch as some of them will come here and defend the guy that stabbed somebody to death. I'm being honest in my statement it's untill you go to the street you will understand the damage obi has cause between already fragile relationship SW has with SE, so sad indeed.

I think if someone brings a customer to you, they have a way of understanding amongst themselves.

It's an age long thing even in Dubai when you go out shopping. Those guys would take you to the shop to get your needs and they'll encourage you to buy. They know themselves.

Our problem is not respecting agreement and trying to be clever. Probably it's just a commission of #1,000 for the guy. Little little patient and sacrifice would have prevented this. Now, wahala ya zo and #1m would not solve it.

What you called 'igbo ethnic cleansing" has been debunked by IBB who was an insider and other well-meaning historians who have the fear of God Almighty.

The fact remains that the coup was actually "awolowo/ Yoruba coup" because the actors of the said coup did what they did just to enthrone awolowo who iwas a Yoruba man as the president where by dethroning Zik an Igbo man.

Today, another round of needless bloodshed has rocked Lagos Island this time at the bustling Mandilas–Idumota axis.

What began as a minor disagreement between two young Oso-ahia hustlers, one Igbo, the other Yoruba over the sharing of money from a job, has ended in tragedy.

According to reports, the quarrel escalated into a fight. The Yoruba boy allegedly stabbed the Igbo boy first. In retaliation, the Igbo boy struck back and stabbed him as well. The Yoruba victim later died from his wounds.

What followed was mob violence. A group of Yoruba thugs pounced on the Igbo boy, beating him mercilessly before dragging him to the police station. Reports now confirm he too has died.

Two young lives wasted in just a few hours. Two families left in pain. Two tribes pitched further against each other. And for what? Nothing but anger turned inward.

Here is the bitter truth: violence and killings solve nothing. They only weaken ordinary Nigerians, while the real enemies, corrupt leaders and elites sit in comfort, looting the nation’s wealth and destroying the future of millions. The blood of the poor flows daily, yet those truly responsible for our hunger, unemployment, and hardship go untouched.

We must wake up. Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Ijaw, Tiv, we are not enemies. We are all victims of the same failed leadership. The true fight is not against each other on the streets; it is against the system that has turned Nigeria into a land of suffering.

Until the Nigerian youth realize this and unite as one people, the cycle of killings and divisions will continue, while those in power laugh at our foolishness.

The message is clear and urgent: violence helps no one. Unity is our only weapon.
