Andrea Berta has set an internal deadline to reach a conclusion with Leverkusen for Hincapie. He does not want talks to drag on into deadline day leaving Arsenal scrambling for a replacement for Kiwior (One source suggested 48 hours)

Sources with knowledge suggest that there is a secret verbal pact between Hincapie and senior members at the club where he could leave for below his RC of €60m.

Andrea Berta is well informed on such intel is aiming to negotiate a package around €50m or slightly less. Talks ongoing between the clubs to reach a conclusion. Loan+obligation is the preference for both clubs to record the transaction on next years financial records but different formulas are being discussed.

Important to note that Hincapie rejected other clubs once Andrea made contact ultimately forcing Leverkusen to deal with Arsenal only. Although he has been a long term target for Arsenal, Berta has kept excellent relations with his camp from his days at Athletico which made it very very easy to reject Sp***.

is martinellis playing days over
I don't think so, however, more than ever, he has to fight for that first 11. There are games he is suited for, especially when Arteta wants to sit back. With Havertz out, I would really like to see Arteta try him as a CF in cup games or games we have wrapped up.

Nelli won't do as a CF cos he can be very wasteful at times and his shooting is meh at best

Champions league draws are out and we'll be playing Athletic Bilbao, Club brugge, Inter, Bayern, Slavia Prague, Athletico Madrid, Olympiacos and Kazat whatever at the league stage. Out of all the opponents, only Bayern worries me and maybe Inter. Part of me wants us to meet that Villarreal, those yellow canoes believe they can go all the way to UCL quarter finals because they defeated us at pre-season. Tuesday/Wednesday nights are about to be lit

Bayern are about the only team I worry about. It is a fairly easy draw that we should navigate. I expect us to make it the round of 16.

We lost to Inter last season and Athletico are always tasking to get through ( I mean the wear and tear )

But it's easier when compared to Chelski and Shitty

Kyra Cooney-Cross on Myles Lewis-Skelly inviting her to a summer camp: “We would eat together, do strength work together, train together. We each had little cabins to sleep in, so it was like a little family camp.

“Myles is like a brother. It was an amazing experience, and something I would love to do every single year. I had so much fun, and learned so much.”

In comparison to last season, we have a better squad this season. While Inter retained their core, they have aged significantly.

To me, City's draw isn't bad when you consider the quality and depth of their squad. Outside of Madrid, they face BVB, Leverkusen, Villareal, Bodo, Napoli, Galatasaray and Monaco. In addition to Chelsea, I think PSG, except you are speaking of EPL team exclusively.

PSG face Bayern/ Barcelona/ Spuds/ Newcastle/ Leverkusen/ Athletic/ Atalanta/ Sporting while Chelsea have Barcelona/ Bayern/ Napoli/ Atalanta/ Benfica/ Ajax/ Pafos/ Qarabag

Man United fans are really in sivia pains right now.

Imagine losing to a Grimsby on a rainy night trying to qualify for the Carabao cup and then the next day fans are discussing their Champions League groups.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by mostob(m): 6:23am On Aug 29, 2025
To find a replacement for Edu, The group included manager Mikel Arteta, executive vice chair Tim Lewis, co-chair Josh Kroenke and managing director Richard Garlick, and they were there to discuss what traits they needed from a replacement.

The consensus, according to those with knowledge of the situation, was that they required someone who could blast the door down. Someone who could take Arsenal beyond second place and help deliver a first Premier League title since 2004. In an ideal world, someone who had already shown that they could take an outsider and gatecrash the party.

They landed on Berta

Berta’s banking background is a key feature of what he brings to the table, which applies to selling as well as buying.

‘He can be creative,’ explained one insider who has also dealt with him. ‘He will listen to you and try and find a solution. For example, if you’re trying to buy one of his players but can’t afford the asking price he’ll be open to finding ways to make it happen, whether that’s a payment plan, instalments or incentives. He’s pretty straightforward, seriously intelligent and if he thinks a deal is in everyone’s interests he will try and get it done.’

‘His network is vast,’ said another agent. ‘He’s studious and at times he is a typical, fiery Italian. He has the banking background and is big on numbers and analytics, but he can also be quite good fun. He has a disarming smile and, despite the fact it’s often a high pressure situation with serious money involved, you can have a bit of a laugh with him

It looks like that Leverkusen guy will come in loan with obligation to buy 60m
Kiwior is already in Porto waiting for go ahead, the guy can also play LB(2 in 1)
With TM closing soon I have to commend the club for job well-done
In my life of supporting this club this is the first we got all our transfers I mean we picked and got our men
All departments were touched with quality depth
It would have been 10/10 but our outings was poor we are paying extra for fringe players we should dump
I read we still have 134m to spend, let's keep it till January it will come handy

Now let's do the talking on pitch, everyone is so sure Awalokan, I trust and hope arteta turns up
I am not greedy just get me epl and ucl double
COYG!!!

this is the reason why the board and owners turn deaf when fans shout Arteta out. Man have been making steady progress each year for them financially. They would always console themselves with the money and profit he brings even when he keeps fuccking up. But this TW have been the best for everyone involved, they were able to spend so much without selling, requiring owners to put personal funds and avoiding ffp wahala. Arteta done put de club for financial level wey dem never attain before.

Yes we have better squad hope injuries are kind to us this time around... PSG have the toughest and for Chelsea; Bayern Barca Napoli Atlanta and Benfica (5 of 8 matches) would be difficult for them ( Lose_able games )... Their fans are scared, it's not conference league anymore 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣....

Our most difficult games are all home matches which to is super favourable.... Top 8 is very realistic and achievable for Arsenal cool cool

Kai knee injury surgery angry sad undecided...

Further to sustaining a knee injury after our recent game against Manchester United on 17 August, subsequent assessments and specialist reviews with Kai confirmed that surgery would be required. Today, Kai underwent a successful minor surgical procedure. He will shortly begin his recovery and rehabilitation programme, with everyone fully focused on supporting Kai to ensure he is back to full fitness as soon as possible.” - Arsenal

Expected to be out for weeks not months.....Speedy Recovery

@bolded, the board begs to differ that's why they 100% support him gidigba grin. Trophies are good but it is not the only benchmark for success. He has elevated the status of the club higher than how he met it. He had generated millions for the club as a results of the team's improved performance.
Do you know Arsenal generated more income than Liverpool, Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Newcastle who ALL won trophies last season? At the end of the day, to the board this is a business not a trophy hunt. As long as you're attracting the club to more investors, sponsors and generating money from matchday ticket sales, the board of executives will be reluctant to let you go.

In Arteta we trust💪🏽
Trust the process✌🏼
