Kukah, you criticized Buhari's government without given hope but you turns around to praising Tinubu and preaching hope.. something must be wrong with you or somewhere.. Buhari wasn't given you money then and Tinubu is given you now, continue... |

ExudeLoveToAll:The biggest irony I've noticed in the last 2 or 3 years is that people who say things like ' love & light only' etc, tend to be the most hateful, vengeful, and most intolerant people. I've noticed this both in the US & Nigeria. Your moniker says it all. |

thisisit:Even though the Reverend's comments were objective and direct, they shouldn't be seen as an act of betrayal. Just because Oseni is an objective journalist doesn't mean he's always right. No one is perfect, and the Reverend's role in the discussion was to provide a different perspective, which doesn't undermine either of them. The goal of debate and criticism should be to encourage improvement, not to express hatred or condemnation. If Oseni believes there has been no improvement in the current government, it's up to supporters to provide evidence that proves him wrong |

I hope you read my view on the government and not implying that I am abusing the government of the day. In as much as I enjoyed your reply, please, don't assume that I am abusing the government. I am in full support that the government is a federating units and not unilateral government. We should expect an equal energy towards development as being done by the central government. If there's an equal measure of vigorous efforts towards development from the complete tiers of government, Nigeria would tramsform within months and not year. I believe in this nation and trust that she can be great of all hands are on deck and with sheer determination to make her great. Thanks Ttalk: |

aylipple:Even with the brutality of General Abacha's regime, we can acknowledge that some positive things happened. The Reverend's point about significant improvements in Kaduna is valid. However, while Kaduna may have improved, security has deteriorated in places like Benue and other states. Should we celebrate these isolated gains when we need to push for more until our major problems are solved? |

Saao:How can you ask if our life is better or worse. What kind of kid is this. Who share hotspot with imbe. Is it government that will make your life better or find opportunities to be a problem solver. If at all the government are creating more problems it's equal to more opportunities. And to answer that your stupid question. Yes my own life is better. How can you say no one life is better. Even in somalia people life is better depending on how you see life. You want to buy things free. Fuel free, medical free, power nepa free, gas free. |

Then let us All go our different ethnic and religious ways. Support shown to any govt of the day by a particular Nigerians seems to be a function of benefits accrued to such persons. Forget any religious or political leaders, they are all there to aggravate our mental slavery and subdue all of us the more while enriching their own pockets. Yahoo Yahoo all over. Na so all of us go grow old ? |

Zocalite:Exactly! It seems that blind loyalty is now more common than genuine critique. We've moved away from a time when we could praise and criticize the government objectively. Today, voicing a complaint about hardship gets you branded as an "Obidient," an "Atiku Supporter," or a "sore loser." The poor masses don't care about politics; they simply want to secure the basic necessities of life. |

smtx:Of course, not to your last question. We're still very far away from crossing the finish line however, my point was specifically to the interview (the snippet that's uploaded to this news) between Mr. Rufai Oseni and Bishop Kukah. While Oseni was trying to insinuate that there's nothing (at all) to be +ve about, the Most Reverend begged to disagree and I was only giving my own two cents as to why he may not have agreed with the AriseTV man. That said, amid the gloom and doom, we (now, it's okay for anyone to see nothing but negativity all around them just as it shouldn't be a problem for anyone to see and talk about the positives around them) shouldn't lose sight of some of the glimmer of hope here & there. |

Zocalite:I will always experience God. Nigeria is my country, God is my source And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;Acts 17:26 God created me a Nigerian in his own image, not in the image of Nigeria. So it is God that determines my fate not Nigeria Infact am created to be a blessing to Nigeria not Nigeria to be a blessing to me. |

Ttalk:Sane minds believe that the situation of this country cannot change overnight and as such tough decisions will mean some tough experiences too for Nigeria to be better. No sane person would think it would be magical because someone somewhere who talks but does opposite to his words wants to rule the country. In any case, the solution to Nigeria's problem still remains that we need to look beyond these recycled politicians for Nigeria to become better |

Saao:Go and farm, establish a school and build a house, if you don't want to spend this much again and stop complaining. That way you are more productive and less reliant on government, even though I wish our government is not spending all our resources on enriching the politicians alone. |
| Re: Negative Energy Takes You Nowhere - Bishop Kukah Tells Rufai Oseni by Saao(m): 2:08pm On Aug 28, 2025 |
Cmeo:that is a good advise but if you r smart person you would know that people are no longer farming because of insecurity hence the high cost of food. im a farmer currently with over 10ha. govt allocated farm land. im not depending on govt in anyway but somethey called conducive environment is needed by govt. so i maybe more productive than you, some of you were paid 30k here to defend bad government, continue to defend them until you meet the failure of govt face to face. |

Zocalite:Soon “experience” what Nigeria? Is it only in Nigeria bad things happen? You people are free to relocate to another country. Yet you are still here. Why? |
| Re: Negative Energy Takes You Nowhere - Bishop Kukah Tells Rufai Oseni by Cmeo(m): 2:31pm On Aug 28, 2025 |
Saao:If you are not producing due to insecurity, then you can't stop those who are producing despite insecurity not to charge their price. Be more creative with the 10ha allocated to you. Think of more stakeholders engagement, while we collective ask government to do their part. |

smtx:Nigeria masses do even ask for much Look at the lmillions of people suffering because of subsidy removal, and devaluing of naira Just because few people defrauding the policy Yet Nothing is happening to those few criminals, infact they are the biggest men in the society The same people will collect government contracts and not do or do haphazard job or inflate it Yet it's the people that must bear the yoke And some people will start singing rubbish praise, as if life is double |
