Gentlelife50:Are people really making 50k a day? Cos if you make 50k a day and work 4 days out of the week, that's 200k a week. You can always keep 50k aside for maintenance. That's just how I see it. Me I no kuku dey make pass 25k a day with my Honda evil spirit. Most times I make like 15k, cos I don't work long hours. It's when I work long hours (like 10 -12 hours) that I make 25k a day. |

Are u guys still on this mountain of whether people are making 50k daily? Na wa o. Don't be one of the people ur children will ask what u where doing with ur life when other people were making it o. Cos I really can't comprehend. I think u guys need deliverance from village people cos na like this person go hustle for 10yrs without anything to show for it. I have told u guys before, if u like stress d car, if u like don't stress d car, when d time comes d car will demand repairs from u. If u haven't been making tangible money and having savings, that's when ur tears will full bucket. They play |

tojahh:So after spending millions to convert to CNG, he should now be accepting annoying prices? Nawa o, see talk. I don know say na all these CNG guys dey carry all these mumu prices. Don't worry, when you get to ladipo to get anything, please tell them to give you CNG price! |

Pearl1910:Why won't people ask if people are really making 50k a day when same people that allegedly make 50k a day keep complaining about the apps. How can you be making a million a.month (if you work 5 days out of the 7 days a week), and you keep complaining about apps, or your car looks like junk. E reach make.person ask na. Unless people don't know how to remove fuel used from net money made, how can you be making a million.a month and still be constantly complaining about apps...or have a run down car. |

Hello guys. I notice my car is returning water to the reserve tank and eventually dripping out of the reservoir cover. The radiator water become shot and car temperature will start raising at the long long. I have wash my radiator, even connect fan direct and change radiator cover, yet, problem still persist. They are saying it is gasket now. Anyone will similar experience? |

| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nelochukwu: 5:21pm On Aug 29, 2025 |
Biodun1929:Iz not everyone that complains and is not everyone that has a run down car. I know my car was never run down while I used to drive. Bro u r d one to make it work for u. If someone tells u he makes 90k pls don't doubt as it doesn't affect u. At d end what am I making? How can I improve on my earnings? How can I save more?...... These should be the questions that sud concern any driver not what anyone makes or doesn't make or what anyone does with the money made. Any earnings posted here I believe is to encourage others to see what can be possible not to measure dick or brag. Some people are good at making money but not saving/spending wisely while some have heavy financial commitment hence bad /run down cars seen on e hailing but like I said not all. Alot of guys doing this business r coordinated and put together with decent cars |

September - December on my mind ![]() Four months of intense grind. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by XGhost: 5:48pm On Aug 29, 2025 |
Biodun1929:I don't think it's an earnings problem, I think it's a spending problem. Because our money comes in bits, accumulating it requires serious discipline which many drivers lack. Many drivers have terrible poverty mentality and it's clear in their personal appearance and vehicle conditions while some just don't care if the car is banged up. I recently shipped my car's passenger side Shaft, total cost more than 250k, in September I'll order the driver's side, even my mechanic laugh, say I de waste money |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Nelochukwu: 6:00pm On Aug 29, 2025 |
XGhost: very true cause d money comes daily in trickles if one is not disciplined you won't know how the money went. They r a lot of clean Uber drivers such that even passengers sef go dey bow. While I drove I got a lot of compliments on my car and my person(dressing, smell, etc). How you look as a matter of fact will ALWAYS influence how you are addressed. Taking care of own's self goes beyond making a lot of money. It's about self love and values. At the end everyone sud do what works of them |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Biodun1929(m): 6:06pm On Aug 29, 2025 |
XGhost:I understand you totally, but still...50k a day is a lot of money. I have many friends that are family men that earn 150k a month. Yeah, driving money comes in bits, but if you can earn 100k in 2 days, you should be able to do something tangible with it...even if you're a reckless spender. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 8:44pm On Aug 29, 2025 |
Biodun1929:Well... It's not everyone that makes that much. Only full time serious drivers. Secondly, not everyone knows how to be disciplined enough to maintain that consistency. To keep going out even when u have a lot in your account requires real dedication and focused target. Thirdly, financial management was supposed to be thought at home and in secondary school. Cos someone can earn 1m for 6 straight months and the one month he doesn't make that amount, he is broke. This is not peculiar to ehailing drivers alone. Generally, d human nature will want to consume, spend and lavish. As for the app coys, I don't know what informs them that without these ridiculous prices, they will not have patronage. So for this reason, soft workers n part-time drivers will not get much value from the business like before. To take home 50k now requires strategic calculations and long hours on the road. Hence, the need for them to increase the fares. Everything has gone up in d last 2yrs except price of Bolt and Indrive rides. With the cost of fuel, spare parts and car maintenance, a driver working full-time shouldn't have anything less than 80k daily take home. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by Pearl1910: 9:20pm On Aug 29, 2025 |
Ember month don show, borrow money if u have to, and put your car in order. Set out early and have a minimum target of 100k on App. If u drive a 1.8litre and below car and ur fuel consumption is normal, u can do this with 30k fuel. Don't carry anyhow trip, some Basic trips are still worth it. Instead of waiting long and wasting precious hours or driving dead to reposition, consider using Basic. Take care of yourself, rest within the day. Eat well and take offs. It's a marathon not a dash. Don't blame anybody if u are a full-time driver and u don't have tangible savings by second week of January 2026. I am driving on rentals is not an excuse, no matter how much u are paying, u can make ur rent in one day this period. |
| Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by XGhost: 10:23pm On Aug 29, 2025 |
Biodun1929:When the money comes in like that, complacency can set in. You can get too comfortable knowing that when you go out tomorrow another 40k go enter. It's all discipline. It's why some drivers on rental find it difficult to remit consistently without stories or face repairs when the car asks questions |
