A South African lady has shared a shocking video of the deteriorating interior of a local airplane she boarded, sparking reactions online.

In the footage, the lower part of the aircraft appears visibly rusted, with an opening underneath that vibrates against the force of the wind as the plane flies.

At first glance, many compared it to a danfo bus commonly used in Lagos, Nigeria, due to its worn-out state.

However, the video’s Afrikaans date display (“WOENSDAG”) clearly indicates that it was indeed filmed on a South African flight.

I don't think this is possible because the wind would tear the body open. It would not surprise me if this is a doctored video because you cannot fly that high with air pressure tearing through the plane

It has to be one of the low altitude flying planes that do short haul trips and use propellers! That’s the only explanation i can think of!

Which "local airplane" is this? Whats the name of the plane? I can tell you for free.. there's no "South African plane" that looks like this.. our aviation can't allow such to even fly
