⚡Former Ukrainian Rada speaker Andriy Parubiy has been assassinated in Lviv. The killer is believed to be a courier driver on a motorbike, who shot 8 times, killing him before emergency services could arrive. A manhunt has been launched to apprehend the gunman. Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyy stated that "in a country at war, there are absolutely no safe places". ⚡Germany will not back the EU Commission’s proposed sanctions on Israel over the Gaza war. Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul said halting research cooperation under Horizon Europe would have “no real impact” on Israel’s military or political decisions. The EU plan would block Israeli participation in projects funded by the European Innovation Council. Most major EU states support sanctions, while Germany and Italy hold out. EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas admitted, “I’m not very optimistic… even this lenient proposal lacks a majority. It sends the message that we are divided.”

⚡Pavlograd Chemical Plant after a Russian air strike last night. The plant has been hit before, including during the large strike against the Ukrainian "Sapsan" missile program. It's the only site in Ukraine that can produce solid rocket fuel.
