Lumumba was killed by the CIA and the Belgians. The US feared he was pandering towards the Soviets in his time of need. Some American media described him as a communist. But he was only anti west and not necessarily a communist. Mobutu was propped up to replace Lumumba,whose idea of a Congo free of foreign influence and control remains an illusion to this day. Mobutu's reign saw one of the worst pillaging of Congolese resources and open looting of Congolese treasury in its history. Then, the rumour was that Mobutu was so rich he could lend money to the country. Today, Congo dr is in its worst social and economic state. It's people remain poor while it's mineral resources are being pillaged by Western corps.

The executors still walk free till today and till some of them left the world .

Focus on building formidable military.


Develop indigenous technology and invest massively in local craft and artisans. Invest in local research and development and also develop your own indigenous Military Industrial Complex like Biafra did in 1967 which Nigeria ought to have retained and by now Nigeria will be producing a lot of military wares and technologies locally to challenge the West
