Do you think she would just call the name of a random restaurant and destroy their name? I would be surprised if there might be no element of truth in what she said. How would police go and investigate and expect to meet anything if the lady was right?

What do you mean by 'manhunt'?

The owners of that restaurant are ruined now. Their business destroyed. Even if Nigeria called on the services of the American CIA, UK Scotland Yard, Interpol and invited CNN along to film the investigation of the restaurant in progress, and finding no evidence, the general public would still be hesitant to patronise that establishment ever again.

This incident is just a small sample of the huge, huge damage perpetrated on Nigeria by ambiguous people and their ambiguous nationality online.
