My panel beater think say him wise. He removed my catalyst when I went to fix my broken exhaust pipe. The Werey sold it for 40k and still collect 15k from me for fixing the exhaust pipe. After 2 days, my car sound changed. Bought 20k fuel twice a day and the car enter red the following day. I took it to another mechanics and discovered that he removed and sold my catalysts👇🏾 | #BoxNaijaTV

Catalyst and O2 sensor affect your car's fuel consumption to an extent, they do, take this to bank anywhere in the world.


What do you think cause excess carbon monoxide emissions from cars?


When it burns more fuel than normal. And catalyst and O2 sensor working together control the rate your car burn fuel by making sure it's according to manufacturer's specification thereby reducing the fuel consumption.

I taya oh. Like say na the whole car him gas the body . The story no clear. Which sensible person will remove catalyst when engine with exhaust go dey very hot .

E be like Na people wey dey ride bicycle or people wey study chemistry full the group. As one who's been driving for over 10 years I know that without a catalyst, a car owner will buy fuel more frequently than one whose car has a catalyst.

I have welded my exhaust for 13k on transit to umuahia 4years ago and that was in Kogi state.
