Hi, I doubt this has anything to do with picture quality or lighting issues. I've been dealing with same issue since thursday night as well. A picture that passed test compliance couldn't be uploaded. Was up for almost 2hours in the middle of the night hoping it will go through but kept getting same message - "picture upload processing couldn't be processed at this time"

For you guys having photo uploads issues, you can resize the photo you're trying to upload using the website photogov dot net

A properly lit photograph was used. It passed the photo compliance test on same immigration website.

For illustration purpose, the error message is attached. You might notice no specific issue related to picture was mentioned.

Some folks mentioned that they usually outline the specific issues with the photo upload right? So why is it giving a different response now? This people are up to something

For those having issues with uploading the picture, you can try the photo net website as mentioned in the group. I had issues initially but when I used the website, I was able to apply for both myself and my wife.

I quickly did mine on Friday when I heard about the increase and it went through, although, the challenge is that they charged me twice (109,700 twice), don't know how come, since they only asked for my OTP once. I have sha sent a compliant to my bank

Chief, you aren't getting the point - if the new fees aren't paid, how will the government uphold the passport's integrity and efficiency, ehn?!

resize the picture to not more than 300kb and make sure it's white background. Me I use AI like ChatGPT to change the passport background to plain white

Keep trying, I also received this before it finally went through.

This was the biggest issue I encountered Infact, I almost gave up here before it was later accepted.

This was how I did it, don’t use a saved picture in your photos/gallery.

Go out to a well light/bright area with white background and take a clear/crisp picture, screenshot it, then submit it.

Better if you can get a very good camera phone like
Iphone.

Also, you can use paystack while paying especially if you have a verve card, it’s seamless.
