The way many people reason both on nairaland and on social media amaze me..

Is it because Dangote is well known? Or what?
Like someone said up there, the lady that died obviously has a terrible sister.

Several people died via okada accident, we didn't hear noise..
Several other hundreds via road accident, perhaps travelling, and yet we didn't bring NURTW down.

Sometimes I just don't understand our issues,
Dangote was obviously not the one driving the said truck..

But you want to suddenly make billions out of this, like seriously?

What if it was a a truck without Dangote name that hits her? Are we still going to use this much energy?

While I condole sincerely with the family, I just don't like the way this issue is or was being handled..

Also, I don't support the company, and of course no amount of money paid by Dangote is enough to bring back the dead, however, I honestly do hope that the family is well compensated.

That said, I am ashamed, we are very terrible people in Nigeria, honestly, very terrible people.

In today's Nigeria, It's almost impossible.

What a dent on the image of the company. I believe they will meet the family for proper settlement.

Dangote group must warn their drivers against reckless driving.
An avenue should be created for any of their reckless drivers to be reported.

Can it really change anything? The issue can only reduce if our cargo train systems work well .

You need to watch how you talk. God forbid it happens to any of your family members, the girl was living her normal life when the truck crushed it. Who should be responsible for taking care of her then?

Fund raising ain't that easy especially when the company responsible for her misfortune is a big coy

Many people will be reluctant to donate because they fly dangote group is more than capable to sort the hospital bills

The last time I checked, the driver of the truck is not Phyna so why blaming Phyna

If you are in Nigeria and you do ply the road the same time most of these trucks play road, you won't utter this kind of words

In conclusion, any company operating heavy duty trucks needs to employ only qualified drivers and stop cutting corners to maximize their profits. Most of these trucks drivers are not fit to ride keke in terms of value for human lives not to talk of driving heavy duty trucks. Company needs to stop stressing their drivers too much as some of them do sleep on wheel due to stress. 99% of death caused by these trucks are highly avoidable

This is a good case for lawyers to jump on pro bono.. if Dangote no pay at all, him go pay nothing less than a billion as compensation....

By the way, no one is talking about the bike man who was also seriously injured and in critical condition. Nobody knows what's happened to that one. Probably because he isn't related to any celebrity or doesn't have someone to shout for him on social media
