Dangote group have finally killed this lady. How could they still be planning advance payment in India over an incident that happened since 13th August 2025? If they really wanted to help her, they would have flown her on Air ambulance to India or any other country that could competently handle her case. If it was any of Dangote's daughters that was in this situation, Dangote would have done just that and more. May God deliver us from evil o.
God will bless you for this comment.
Thank you for saying the truth without fear or prejudice.
Dangote probably wanted her to die....so that the lifelong reminder of the recklessness of his trucks will not linger for a long time.
Even if they didnt airlift her to India, She could have been taken to Lagos or Abuja.
They literally made zero efforts, they just kept handling the social media PR till she died.

Even the state of the hospital as seen in the picture calls to question the kind of medical treatment she received. How sad to lost such a young gem.Would not be surprised if there was an infection. Nigerian hospital's and carelessness.
That hospital was dirty. It looked like a primary care health center. I wont be surprised if they were induced to finish her off as well. Or they kept her knowing fully well they didnt have the capability to handle the level of trauma treatment she required. But because they wanted to collect Dangote's check and money they held on to the patient and was doing amputations without technical back up to handle it

This is becoming unbecoming. Why are these Dangote truck drivers so damn reckless? Just imagine the excruciating pain she must've been in. His drivers alone have injured or killed many people in Nigeria, and they go scot-free. It's high time something is done about this. angry

exactly bro... Doctors might even have advise against airlifting and taking her abroad..... Had a sister who had similar case... D doctors didn't clear her
Have we heard from the doctors ? A full inquiry should be made, all doctors involved should be subpoenaed and questioned. Pray this doesn't happen to you. Nigerian hospitals are mainly loyal to the person paying the bills, which in this case is the defendant. So how are we sure there was due process in her treatment of she was medically silenced ?

Good we are calling out Dangote and his trucks out. So will other trucks and especially tanker drivers and their owners be exempted from the calling out?
I dont think you comprehension can manage this conversation.

Someone should explain how a leg amputation can lead to death when the person does not suffer from diabetes.
A leg amputation carries significant risks including hemorrhage, infection, blood clots, and cardiovascular complications, which can lead to severe consequences or death. These risks often arise from complications during or after surgery not just the loss of the limb itself.

It wasn't just the leg amputation that led to her death, other vital organs were affected, she has been in coma since, just that the leg was amputated immediately.

What really caused her death? They should really have an autopsy to determine her cause of death instead of pointing fingers at Dangote only. Was her death caused by a botched amputation? People have met in accidents ...legs crushed and had to be amputated...!and are hopping around very much alive and well. Why couldn't she? I strongly believe it was a botched surgery.

We talk too much instead of taking action.... and action is what bring about change. It is for an autopsy to be done. If the result shows the amputation was the cause of death then she should get a good lawyer and sue the Dangote Group .... the driver ... and the hospital. Dangote Group is likely to settle out of court .... the driver would have to give up everything he ever owned plus work to meet the judgement amount ... the hospital will likely settle to avoid patient boycott and the family would have some closure. How can this bring about change? It will encourage others to sue Dangote ... so many accidents...so many hugh payouts...he will introduce and enforce strict requirements of his drivers ... as in certification ...random drug testing ... open lines for the public to report reckless drivers etc. Hospitals will scrutinize their surgeons ... ensure they are certified ... pull those who are constantly botching surgeries etc. Drivers will be careful for fear of being sued. As it is now ... there are no consequences so everybody do anyhow.
Dangote killed her....dont try to put a spin on the doctors or level of healthcare. He should have airlifted her to a better hospital. The minute his truck hit her. It was 100% his responsibility to come through. He made a stupid comment that once the doctors certify her to travel, knowing fully well that small dirty hospital did not have the required expertise.

A lot of other things could have happened... Sepsis, internal bleeding, embolism, organ failure, etc.

We only heard about the amputation part because thats the most obvious one.
Exactly.

Was Dangote the driver of the truck? If no ... how did he kill her? Maybe it is because of this kind mentality that the drivers are reckless ... they be like "let me speed around this bend ... if I run over anybody it wouldn't be my fault...they will blame Dangote. " People like you are part of the problem.

Once the doctors certify she can travel ... what does that mean? Here goes the ignorance on display again. The doctors have to say if it is ok for the patient to be transported because they know the status of the patient. if Dangote had grabbed from the hospital ...put her on his private jet...and wad flying her to India or wherever....and she died on the way....who would then be responsible for her death? What would he say in defense when the hospital says they were about to do timely routine amputation which would've definitely saved her life? Is it then you would be shouting if he didn't move her she would be alive? Two face people everywhere.

This is more reasonable and I would agree with you on this. They would hold on to the patient hoping to milk her family and Dangote. Now I'm thinking the amputation may not have been even necessary...but was done to add cost. I would not at all be surprised to learn they held in to her even though they knew she would not make it in their care. Maybe this is why Dangote said they were awaiting certification or permission to transport her ... they were insisting she was not in condition to be transported.

Those who were here long enough will never forget what LASUTH did to DJOLA ... a Nairalander who had cancer and we all came together to raise money ...and sacrificed time and effort to have him treated and what did LASUTH do? .... milked us ...even when he was dying...they were milking us under palliative treatment. Those who weren't here ...look it up...it was the most gripping time whe Nairaland came together as a family. It was when my eyes really opened to the fact that hospitals have vultures masquerading as doctors and experts.

You dey mind the illiterate? The effect on the body is the trauma i explained earlier. Let them cut one of his fingers and see if he'd not feel it in his entire body, talk less of a whole leg with the 2nd leg, damaged with lots of fractures
I learnt they did several surgeries on her. The dude doesn't know what it means to be healthy. You could imagine the pain of losing two legs. Death is even the best option because I won't be able to bear the pain a trauma at all.

That emergencies aren't taken seriously here shouldn't be a reason people don't research on, and go for such a lucrative career, that's capable of writing off poverty in their lineage. On the contrary, ordinary LASU runs Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and their fees are cheap, you see? Likewise OAU. My Biomedical Engineer travels the world, for trainings. His colleague works for a top hospital in the UK as I speak. Every hospital needs a Biomedical Engineer as well, home and abroad. Information is very key. If you're well informed, you'd definitely get whatever you want. Even if you studied the best course and you're not informed, it's useless.

I remember a guy who studied in FG's Kaduna college of aviation and complaining of joblessness. I introduced Archer aviation to him and he applied, today he's in the US, doing great. That's the power of Information. Once you had that right degree and you're well informed, the sky is your starting point . Those professions may not be appreciated locally but out there, theyre never enough.

When I graduated, I didn't know anyone who could help me. It's been stories upon stories. I got all the jobs I had through the then guardian newspapers of Tuesdays' and Thursdays' editions, without knowing anyone whereas, my colleagues were busy counting on people who later disappointed them. Till this morning as i speak to you, none of them could near.me in achievement. All glory to God. I've researched before posting those professions and based in my personal experience. Air ambulance exists but how many are qualified as nurses to work in this very lucrative sector?
You are right that information is powerful. I find it interesting that LASU offers Aeronautical Engineering.

Why didn't they raise funds first instead of waiting for Dangote. At least VDM could have used his platform to do that

How much was they even expected from Dangote? Flying abroad plus the medical.
Who are you to blame vdm? Why can't you raise awareness and funds with your own platform?? Vdm did his bit, you do your bit.

Vdm is not a governor nor a president.

If a Dangote truck is the at-fault vehicle, and the insurance is active, the insurance company must cover compensation, subject to policy terms. The amount paid depends on assessment and policy limits.

There are several documented cases where Dangote Group has gone beyond insurance obligations to provide direct compensation:

Anambra Market Accident (2018): A Dangote truck crashed into a market, resulting in the deaths of at least three people. The company, through its insurer (NEM), paid ₦10 million to affected traders.

Abuja–Lokoja Road Accident (2017): Sixteen cattle dealers lost their lives in an accident involving a Dangote truck. Each family received ₦500,000, totaling ₦8 million in assistance.

Ondo State University Accident (2021): Eight students were killed when a truck drove into roadside shops. Dangote provided ₦500,000 per family for funeral expenses, along with additional insurance coverage and support for injured survivors.

Pursuing ₦1 billion in compensation through litigation is unrealistic unless supported by strong legal grounds. Any payout whether through insurance or court judgment is ultimately subject to thorough assessment and applicable policy or legal limits.

We see the game, you’ve been dispatched straight out of Dangote’s camp to stir disunity, but Nigerians know the truth: Dangote’s billions are soaked in blood. Every single day, his trucks grind innocent lives into dust, all in the name of stacking more zeroes to his net worth. This is not business, it’s a ritual of sacrifice on the highways. Nigerians are not dazzled by his so-called wealth. Don’t you dare attempt to drag Phyna into the mud, it won’t stick. The only true villain here is Dangote. If you crave his blood-soaked cash so badly, then by all means, line yourself up
under his convoys and let his trucks crush you flat. Nigerians do not want his dirty hush money. We demand rules, sanity, and strict government oversight over his trucking empire. Enough blood has been spilled. A young woman was nurtured, educated, invested in, only to be stolen from her children forever by reckless wheels of greed. And you stand here peddling the insult of a measly 1 billion as if human lives have price tags? You and Dangote can take that rotten offer and ram it where the sun will never shine.

If a Southern businessman's trucks were finish people off at this rate, he would be in trouble by now. But the elite are above the law, especially Northern ones.

LOL. The offer has likely already been accepted by Phyna behind closed doors. She seems willing to take anything, as long as it's paid directly to her and she doesn’t have to share it with anyone.

Have you noticed how vocal she was when her sister was alive? But ever since her private meeting with Dangote, she’s gone completely silent even after her sister’s death. She hasn’t called out Dangote since. which is odd one would think now that the worst has happened she will be more vocal. huh

It’s hard to say, but it seems Phyna always knew her sister wouldn’t make it, and her focus was on securing something for herself. Now that she’s received some kind of assurance, she’s gone quiet.

Just watch over the next few weeks, not only will she avoid revealing how much she was paid, but she’ll likely stop speaking negatively about Dangote altogether
.
